    TD pass to Shane Vereen

This is exactly the type of play which McDaniels ran to Shane leading up to the Playoff games last year and then during the playoffs and AFC Championship games he doesn't go back to Shane in the redzone!!  Shane is a total mismatch for any DB and usually makes the play.  Just another case of McDaniels being a dope.  Hope he has learned a little something during the off season having been too stupid to get to the Super Bowl again!!

Vereen is not a mismatch against a DB . . . on those plays he was covered by a linebacker, now that's a mismatch!

Whats up with attacking the Pats coaches... I never understood this.  Name another OC you'd rather have? Maybe one or two fine... but hey...

Anyways they ran this play against Houston...

McDaniel's was the architect of the single greatest offensive explosion of all time (2007) and the longest winning streak in NFL history.  He made the Rams substantially better as an offensive coordinator and there is nobody I'd rather have at the offensive steering wheel than him.  Dumb premise....

Shane Vereen was mismatched on a linebacker, that's what great coordinators do, create mismatches.  Why don't we focus on our weaknesses and how to improve them instead of pointing to our strengths and calling them "dopey?"

All you do around here is lie, lie, lie.

80% passing.  38% in the shotgun, including the TD.

When you say, "leading the offense behind a good run game" do you mean two running plays for every 10?

    1. 1-10-NE 20 (9:33) 12-T.Brady pass incomplete short left to 22-S.Ridley [91-F.Cox].
    2. 2-10-NE 20 (9:25) 12-T.Brady pass short left to 80-D.Amendola to NE 26 for 6 yards (23-P.Chung).
    3. 3-4-NE 26 (8:59) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass short left to 85-K.Thompkins to NE 32 for 6 yards (24-B.Fletcher).
    4. 1-10-NE 32 (8:35) 22-S.Ridley right tackle to NE 37 for 5 yards (95-M.Kendricks).
    5. 2-5-NE 37 (8:04) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass short right to 85-K.Thompkins to NE 41 for 4 yards (59-D.Ryans).
    6. 3-1-NE 41 (7:32) 22-S.Ridley left end to PHI 49 for 10 yards (23-P.Chung).
    7. 1-10-PHI 49 (6:57) 12-T.Brady pass deep middle to 17-A.Dobson to PHI 26 for 23 yards (24-B.Fletcher).
    8. 1-10-PHI 26 (6:24) 12-T.Brady pass short middle to 85-K.Thompkins to PHI 19 for 7 yards (27-B.Hughes).
    9. 2-3-PHI 19 (5:51) 12-T.Brady pass short left to 85-K.Thompkins to PHI 13 for 6 yards (24-B.Fletcher).
    10. 1-10-PHI 13 (5:10) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass short left to 34-S.Vereen for 13 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Cmon notashot your acting like a politicain now trying to tweak stats to fit your argument! Everyone knows Brady played two series, and you list the second series above where he threw the ball just to get in sync with his new recievers. TB12 said as much after the game. On the first drive they ran the ball every play, so BB could evaluate Blount, also said after the game. Preseason is about evaluations not game plans.

I don't really get this forum. A forum is to discuss different views or opinions. I get picking on someones opinion but always putting the other person down by calling them stupid or troll or other such things, seems totally stupid to me.

State your opinon and let others agree or disagee. This constant bringing of every discussion into the personal attacks and name calling makes this forum less enjoyable and less informative.

I tend to not read any threads that get much longer than 20 responses. The reason is simple... longer threads degrade into a bunch of kids on a playground pointing fingers at each other and name calling. It is not an adult discussion with  a sharing of different perspectives and opinions.

Opinions are like Axxholes, everyone has one. Some are small, some are big, some stink and some only smell a little. You don't have to agree or like everyone but respecting it is probably justified.

So if you don't have something constructive to say.... shut the F up and move on..... this constant degradation of the discussions is really annoying and you can learn from someone else having a different opinion, even if you don't agree with it.

    C'mon Man!!!

Really I don't think it matters all that much who the coordinator is when Brady is playing, he has made all of them head coaches after coaching here for a few years...Weis, McDanials O'Brien. (has there been more?).

Where as when you take a look at the coordinators working with a Mark Sanchez or Kevin Kolb...those guys will be out of work soon. Imagine trying to put a game plan together for one of these two? Unless you can go out there and throw the ball for them, you're doomed and bound to fail. Every year there will be 6 coordinators fired, six that are going to be head coaching candidates and 20 that will keep their jobs because they just got it last year.

I watched Brian Billick and Jon Gruden go from being offensive wizards, to offensive dummies because they no longer had a quaterback to bail them out.

Exactly.  Just like the throw against the Texans in the playoffs.  It's not like Vareen had him beat by 5 steps.  Very tight windows both times.   Thank You TB.
