i have to doubt very much it's "jealousy" TFB...they are the champs and beat ur team at home to do it...u guys really got to drop that "jealousy" nonsense when it comes to certain teams or maybe the NFL in general

How else do you explain it.  The guy just won a SB and all he does is talk about NE.  Unless you have evidence Brady and Belichick had a three some (amazing i had to make that 2 words to get it through the filter) with his mom I don't see any other logical explanation.  The guy has never liked New England or the attention they get for being a successful franchise.  If that isn't jealousy idk what is.

he just hates the pats-and so do others-for any number of reasons but he has zero reason to be "jealous"...why would he be coming off a championship which included winning in ur building? bellichick isnt likeable necessarily u have to admit...pats fans may want it to be envy-and for some teams/players i am sure it is-but not suggs and the ravens

What you are saying is not true - i.e., taking their SB success in a vacuum, not taking into account history. The hate grew long before they won the SB. Their having more success than the Pats just gave him a platform to express that hate without looking so stupid.

    In response to TexasPat's comment:

The Pats of today are similar in stature to the "America's Team" Dallas Cowboys of the 70s. Those Cowboys were hated, too. Great success always breeds envy.

Suggs and his Buzzard teammates have no class. They consistently whine, even after they've won a SB.

You'd whine too, if you had to live in Baltimore

I'm inclined to agree, TFB.  My opinion is that Suggs simply has more issues than National Geographic and is fixated on Brady and the Pats.  I don't think he can help himself.

LOL!  Now thats a lot of issues!!

"31 Teams hating the Patriots," I'm not sure I would fully sign-off on as such an all encompasing absolute of epic proportions...  And honestly here, IF I had to make a case in court, and Terrell Suggs along with Bart Scott were my sole 2 character witnesses I had to solidify whatever my claim....well- Your best bet would probably be to forsake that pocket-emptying high profile blue-chip Defense Attorney, ya mighta been thinkin'a hirin'-  Trully, just through some of those funds on your prison books, and spend the rest on a good personal defense trainer...'cause your case doesn't have a snowballs chance in he!! & so you're already as good as g-o-n-e.

Yet, despite the usual headache rhetorics high(school) bombasts of Suggs & Scott, "31 Teams hating the Patriots..."???  ...Yea...well, yeeaaa: I can see that.

On the plus side- I can't even imagine how it's even possible to be Division winners in something like 12 of the past 14 seasons or better, have 3 Superbowl Championships under your belt, 2 additional SB appearances, and finally even at least 2 extra Championship appearances on top of everything else...

On the minus side- Shoot, I've been bred in to The Pats fandom as a family birthright, and can recall watching Sunday game after Sunday game with my parents during my entire childhood, heading back to even '83 when I was all'a 6 or 7 years old-  So what I'm sneaking around attempting to say, I suppose, is:  Even I hate Patriot Fans now...and I ain't got 1 other team...in 1 other sport...that I'm passionate 1 bit about-  Hands down (and w/ an overwhelmingly great part, as an unfortunate offshoot of their own successes), You simply could not find 1 other NFL Team, which could even come close to rivaling NE for the following type of fans:  Bandwagon affluent baby boomers (and fams) whom have never played football, nor had even actually cared about football, until their regional pro team in NE started takin' home Championships...  Other than that, NE might also be hated because they place an absolute value on every person (and/or considered person), at every position...and DON'T budge an inch (yet, still far, FAR too many times have left 6, 8, 10, 12, and even  13/14 mil unspent on the team's cap, during the heyday of our HOF QB's playing days; Seasons wherein, just 1 single recognizable pass-rush specialist @ 4-3 DE/DT/3-4 WOLB/3-4 DE, 1 or 2 single above average DBs, just 1 more play-making LB or TE- VERY well could- And in all probability (considering how close we came so often when we fell just short), Probably would-  Have solidified us a Lombardi in Seasons where we were just 1 play in 1 game short...or short by just 1 play, or 1 or 2 drives, during the Ultimate and final SB Contest itself...  Other than that, the only other thing I can think of is that We are really- And I mean, realllllly, really, really-ahhh: Too "white" on Offense...for not just 1 or 2 years, but for about half a decade now (we really need someone like Bruce Armstrong on the LOS)- And, we play-ahh:  Really, really "white";  We play Vanilla <quick-strike series or zippo, pass, pass, pass, and then pass, no tempo control, and not even close to enough enforcing of your own will on the opposing D by goin' right at 'em, breaking their own will and hearts by O guys beating up enough on the D through a power-based (or just power back)- running game>, and we look Vanilla <that's too much vanilla>.

-It's sorta like watching John Wayne or Clint Eastwood, in the year 2013, Playing Mr. Bad-### Tough-Guy...  Ya end up leaving with an impression something like, "Yeaa...I mean, that was nice an' all- Annnd, I'm sure that coulda flown 20 or 30 years ago...but now?  hm-hmm- I'd eat both of those guys in their primes for breakfast."

-Look, I wanna pen some form of deferential "mea culpa" at these above thoughts, but I just can't-  It's simply far too true as it stands currently;  And so now, we're looking for the biggest, meanest, headcase bullies to respect "Our Fans," "Our Game", and "How we play it (them)?"  =It ain't gonna happen...  Because:  Currently, there is still far too many instances wherein NE plays the game on the field, and there are still far too many NE Fans whom are still sooo overly-spoiled, and overly-entitled (and all the while, being under-knowledged when you've never suited up even at a pop warner level, and have only been interested in the sport for under a decade), AS: the metaphorical equivelant of a child whom rather than just smacking said "bully" right in the jaw (and then jumping on him), instead seem more like the kid who'll tell the teacher...or try to take "the high road", or what-ever.  Too much pacifying and enabling of the predator, rather than just manning straight-up and trying to knock his teeth out...

Re: Terrell Suggs: 31 Teams hate the Patriots

    Much luv back you guys.

    I    <state your name>: Me  hereby pledge,

To at least try to make an effort to re-read my posts (after the fact...let's not get crazy here yet).

Uggh- "Through"="Throw";  Bough?  Dough? ...even though that's actually a a ship's bough ('bow'), and "dough" could just as easily be spelled "doe"-  'Kay, either way=WhenInTH did I start doing this brainless mismatch over & over again?

     Also, I don't (and didn't) wanna just throw <nice> down on-the-no-football-playin'/affluent/phony "baby-boomers"....  I initially wanted to even it up (that's important for me), by alas targeting the 15-25 no-football-playin'/stats-only/numbers-only=nuances,experience,knowledge-nahhh, fantasy league younger guys.  {no favoritism...that's important;  Conveying overly stereotypical generalizations? =Not AS important}

Thus, I beleieve I an do better:

"And, we play-ahh:  Really, really "white";  We play Vanilla <quick-strike series or zippo, pass, pass, pass, and then pass, no tempo control, and not even close to enough enforcing of your own will on the opposing D by goin' right at 'em, breaking their own will and hearts by O guys beating up enough on the D through a power-based (or just power back)- running game>, and we look Vanilla <that's too much vanilla>."

    reprint:

; And once more again, not to overstate an already made point, but NE's O looks so white, that it makes even Jimmy Buffet blush to the point of achieving "soul"; NE's Offense comes off as soooo "white", that the guys I selected to draft on Offense for my mock '13 Pats class, is solely compiled of guys with names like, "Hakeem Loleemanee & Buster Brown & Tyrone X;  That's it...didn't even look at the positions they play, or who they were."

alright, don't know what I'm still doin up...  I was gonna hit it off with some creative prose about vanilla chocolate softserve, but scr#w it.

Re: Terrell Suggs: 31 Teams hate the Patriots

ya know what's so hysterical about this whole thread????? This is the fkn NFL we're talking about right? Since when should we give a krap about who likes us or who doesn't???? I've been a die hard patriots fan since they were the boston patriots and they played at fenway park. I love any and all trash talk directed at my patriots. when the whistle blows and the ball is kicked off "its clobberin time". smash em in the mouth..........I only got one thing to say to suggs........snot bubble greatings from the New England Patriots. see ya next season chump.
