Peyton manning has always been a great QB when it comes to the "regular season".....He lost 5 games in High school, 3 of which were playoff games, he won 1 national championship in college, and of course he is 9-9 in the playoffs with a superbowl.....Colts"babe" get a clue. -

Bill Polian is 1-5 in Super Bowls. Brady-3 Manning-1 Case closed. Did not have the Guts to go for a undefeated season. Got what they deserved. -

The game in the NFL, just like in all other sports, is about winning championships; end of story. Lastly, what has the sports teams in Inianappolis done to qualify for your claim as city of championships by the weay ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/ -

In defense of accuracy, the Vols won their National Championship with Tee Martin at quarterback after Manning left. -

The Colts had an equal decade to the Giants. Both won and lost a SB and had a bunch of play-off appearences. Those 2 can argue out #3 of the decade, success is measured in Super Bowls, not mediocrity. #'s 1 and 2 are w/out debate. -

I love it that the Haters call the Pats "cheaters" when Spygate had nothing to do with the outcomes, but nobody in the media had the stones to call out Bill Pollian and the NFL on how rules get changed.
Pollian cried like a puussy when his team lost the 2003 AFCCG and used his influence on the NFL Competition Committee (Tony Dungy also had a seat) to make rules changes that were beneficial to his team.
Holy conflict of interest, Batman!!!
That said, the "team of the decade" could only muster ONE (1) SB title, regardless. Oh, the "greatest QB of all time" is now 9-9 in playoff games, after he flushed any chance of victory with a pick-6 in SB44. Even afterward the fawning media STILL thinks Peyton has a great game while brushing off the INT with a "dem's the breaks" attitude. Kudos to Deon Sanders for calling BS on that in NFLN Postgame.
As you were. Troll on!
In Response to THE COLTS ARE STILL THE TEAM OF THE DECADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tHE numbers are clear. Our # of 11 win plus seasons is far superior to the number of winning seasons that the Cheatriots have. Besides Manning has multiple MVP's. SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE COLTS ARE STILL THE TEAM OF THE DECADE!!! PHIL SIMMS EVEN SAID SO,

Speaking of cheating, the offensive line coach of the Colts Howard Mudd has been called one of the best at teaching Colts players how to cheat. Many ex-players in the know have confirmed it. ColtsBigBertha, don't call the kettle black.
I found a picture of you & your brother on your Colts fan page.

PHIL SIMMS EVEN SAID SO,Indianapolis the city of champions
Please, put the crack pipe down. Last time I checked, the ultimate goal of all 32 teams is to hoist the Lombardi. Not how many meaningless games you can win. Not how many bogus awards you win by a vote. Quality trumps quantity. It's not winning 11 games that makes you the best, it's winning the last game of the season! Bottom line is that while the Colts win a lot of regular season games (by only a couple more than the Patriots, BTW), when they get to the games that are important they are 9-9. I know not what Indy is the city of champions of, though. Do they have an inbreeding tournament at Lucas stadium in the spring or something? Anyway, "babe", lay off the crack! It will give your kids brain damage. Surely your brother won't want you messing up his kids like that!!! -

Tell what good has ever come from Indiana? Colts are in a crap division and the great Peyton Manning is 9-9 in the playoffs. What is nice to see from Peyton is he takes after dear old self serving dad... also a perennial loser (do I need to give the less than educated Colt fans the definition of perennial?). Polian builds teams to beat the mediocrity of the league - Bills 0-4 in Super Bowls, Colts 1-1. It is nice to see optimism from losers... keep it up...but know you will always be disappointed. -

Imagine if you will a NFL w/o Polian changing the rules so that his pus*y Colts players can compete. Manning would not be 9-9. He'd be about 3-15 in playoff games. Polian finally realized that a team full of small players can't compete playing by the rules that they have been playing by since they started as kids. They would be manhandled, & they were for years, so he whines like a little b*tch until he gets his way. I don't understand why the other comittee members didn't taunt him & laugh at this fool. They voted for a rule that put them at a disadvantage. That was idiotic. -

Wait, let me get this straight:
Patriots - 3 SB's
Colts - 1 SB (because of phantom P.I. calls in 06' AFC championship game)
Brady - 50 TD's
Manning - 49 TD's
Patriots - 16-0
Colts - 14-2
Patriots owner - Even keeled, and allows the coach to make decisions
Colts owner - Ruins what could have been an undefeated season, influences referees
Why is this even a question. I could go on for a while. It's nothing to be ashamed of ColtsBabe, it's just the simple fact of the matter. The Patriots were better in all aspects then the Colts this past decade. -

In Response to Re: THE COLTS ARE STILL THE TEAM OF THE DECADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:How is this thread still kicking? Joe Montana is the greatest QB of all time and Manning cant even hold his jock. win another title before you call him the greatest. H ell win 3 more title and then you can talk.
Posted by MVPKilla2009Hey now - of course Manning can hold Montana's jock. He even does so in a TV ad for "Montana's Jocks for Jocks". It aired last year during the SB.
