THE IDEAL 53 MAN ROSTER (CUTS, PS, PUP, IR, RETIRED AVAILABLE)

This is my take on what the Roster should be like, obviously I don't know what is going to happen in the Practice squad but I put the players that I would like to keep the most but had to cut on the list symboled with an asterisk(*=PRACTICE SQUAD) Ray Ventrone was the hardest player to cut, I just couldn't find room.........if he doesn't make the 53 man roster might as well say he's a Bronco, Chief, Brown, Jet, or Dolphin......Terrence Nunn, Ninkovich, Adams and Connolly are bubble players I really hope to keep them in the practice squad, I also hope to keep Bussey and Richard so its not a waste of picks, and Jamar Love is better than Daze-Jones so thats why I put him on there.....Let me know what you think!!!!! I also think that Matthew Slater, Shawn Crable, Chris Taylor will be added to the PUP, if not with the exception of Slater they would be cut, if slater is not on PUP, then Watson or Smith will be gone in my opinion....Hope you LIKE IT,,,DONT HATEQB 2Tom BradyBrian HoyerRB 5Kevin FaulkFred TaylorLaurence MaroneyBenJarvus Green-EllisSammy MorrisWR 6Randy MossWes WelkerJulian EdelmanSam AikenGreg LewisJoey GallowayTE 4Chris BakerDavid ThomasBenjamin WatsonAlex SmithOL 9Dan KoppenNick KaczurMatt LightLogan MankinsStephen NealRich OhrenbergerSebastian VollmerRyan O’ CallaghanRyan WendellDL 9Ty WarrenRichard SeymourVince WilforkRon BraceMyron PryorMike WrightTully Banta-CainDerrick BurgessJarvis GreenLB 6Jerod MayoAdalius ThomasGary GuytonPierre WoodsEric AlexanderParis LenonCB 5Shawn SpringsLeigh BoddenJohnathan WilhiteDarius ButlerTerrence WheatleyS 4James SandersBrandon MeriweatherPatrick ChungBrandon McGowanSPT 3Jake IngramStephen GostkowskiChris HansonPUP/IR 6Shawn CrableMatthew SlaterMark LeVoirChris TaylorBrandon TateTyrone McKenzieCut 10 Practice Squad 7*George Bussey*Dan Connolly*Darryl Richard*Rob Ninkovich*Titus Adams*Jamar Love*Terrence Nunn*Ray VentroneHerana Daze-JonesVinny CiurciuNathan HodelBilly YatesKevin O’ConnellRoderick RogersStephen WilliamsRobert OrtizAndrew WalterRetired 1Tedy Bruschi -

Good post, personally I don't think Nunn will make it through waivers. The Jets desperately need WR help and they could be a landing spot. Not to mention the obvious KC/Den/Cle connections.
I wish there was more info available on Crable and his lack of PT, it has to be injury related in my opinion. It's now clear why he started camp on PUP as it makes him eligible to go back on PUP before the regular season starts, if need be. If he started camp healthy, they wouldn't have the PUP option. -

Posted by mbeaulieu07Thank You.....I would LOVE to keep Nunn, hopefully over Smith, but I feel like Special Teams we could use 4 TE it was a coin flip between Nunn and Smith.....I also believe Jarvis Green might be Cut but it all depends on injuries like Slater's, Ventrone is my 54th guy I just couldn't fit him in, that was tough.......I like our team,,,,,,if you can't tell I can't wait for September 14th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

I agree that getting Nunn through waivers will be tough. On the other hand, I think Wheatley would make it, so you could swap those two.
I really don't think they'll go with just Hoyer behind Brady, and they probably can't get Hoyer through to PS after last night, so I think you need to slot another spot there. I'd guess Smith's spot gets used on another QB.
Finally, I'm not sure Lenon and Alexander are worth two roster spots. One of them might give way so we can keep Ventrone. This might be sentimental on my part because I'm a big Ventrone fan, but so is Bill B. I do understand wanting to keep more depth at ILB though. -

I agree with basically everyone on your roster, except for Ventrone. If it were me, I would keep him over one of the tight ends, most likely Alex Smith, or Joey Galloway. It has been reported that Brady isnt connecting with Galloway on the field at all. He is a great player, but is getting older now, and if the connection is not there, I see no reason to keep a veteran on the verge on retirement over a fresh, young, hard-working talent like Ray Ventrone. -

This would be a very bold (cap irresponsible) roster:
QB: Tom Brady, AJ Feeley (acquired in trade for Ben Watson), Brian Hoyer (3)RB: Laurence Maroney, Sammy Morris, BJGE, Faulk (Cut Taylor, not on same page as Brady in passing game) (4)WR: Moss, Welker, Nunn, Edelman, Aiken, Ventrone (Cut Galloway and Lewis) (6)
TE: Chris Baker, David Thomas, Alex Smith (Keep Smith with Watson to Eagles) (3)OL: Light, Mankins, Koppen, Neal, Kaczur; Vollmer, Ohrnberger, O'Callaghan, Connelly (No way they keep three first year backups on OL, so Connelly beats out Wendell) (9)
Total O: 25
DL: Seymour, Fork, Warren, Green, Wright, Brace, Pryor (DL on this team means DT) (7)OLB: Thomas, Woods, Burgess, TBC, Crable (5)ILB: Mayo, Guyton, Alexander, Lenon (4)
CB: Springs, Bodden, Wilhite, Wheatley, Bodden (5)
S: Merriweather, Sanders, Chung, McGowan (4)
Total D: 25
K: Ghost
P: Hanson
LS: Ingram
