I heard the Jets have the deepest defense in the NFL.   There are very knowledgeable fans down in New York and New Jersey.

Really? Who did you hear this from? Fireman Ed?? LOL!!!

I spent some time living there & can tell you that is not true. Think the cast of Jersey shore discussing why they would endorse Obama. Oh, & Jets fans typically bail out on their team around the mid-season mark.

    haha

I read the interwebs and listen to what those objective NJ fans have to say as well.  Serves me well.  I feel I gain knowledge that way.  Helps me analyze the Pats because the Jets run things just like the Pats.

    Mt Hurl told me this.

The only time I can remember discussing the jets with anyone is after they beat us during that playoff game. You remember that time don't you rusty? Yeah, you talked smack with jet's fans for two weeks before the game and after they beat us you disapeared for two weeks - everyone else around here had to take the heat when they flooded this board after.

For the love of god Davesdone almost had a mental breakdown during that time - you wouldn't know, because you weren't man enough to stick around and face the music.

    From a yahoo.com article:

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/mark-sanchez-tryst-eva-longoria-jets-latest-non-132659635--nfl.html

As it turns out, Mark Sanchez did score during the preseason -- he just didn't do it with the New York Jets.

The ostensible starting quarterback of everybody's favorite preseason offensive disaster has been spotted with the lovely Eva Longoria, and apparently, it's far more serious than Tony Sparano's offensive gameplans.

    From the New York Post:

Wearing a lace top that offered even less resistance than the Jets' offensive line, the actress strutted her way to an evening of entertainment that included a viewing of the Broadway hit "Rock of Ages" followed by a romantic dinner at the Japanese hot spot Nobu.

Longoria appears to have fully recovered from her marital airball with San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker and has become smitten with the Jets' starting quarterback.

He was overrated in college and he's overrated now. Powell outperformed him in camp and preseason.

Absolutely!  I recall that when he was drafted way up in the 4th round there was all sorts of talk about how he would be able to excel at returning kicks.  Once again, all of those idiot draft pundits blew it.  How can a team just waste high picks like that on a guy who hasn't contributed a thing?

    In response to DelGriffith's comment:

Sounds great Phat Rex/Magione/Bustchise. Here's a better question: Why do you think Davedsone and the mods allow you to pretend you're a Pats fan when you get caught defending Jets players?

In one thread recently, you posed as a Pats fan and now you're in here quickly defending Joe McKnight, a gimmick return player who is 3rd or 4th on the weak Jets RB depth chart.

Maybe if your dumb GM didn't take Mark Sanchez in 2009 or Gholston in 2008 in the 1st rd (top 10) as busts, you wouldn't need to pretend Joe McKnight is so fantastic?  Maybe they could have drafted a legit all purpose RB who is actually really good in reality?

    LMAO

    Phat Rex/Magione/Bustchise caught again.

I don't understand what you're saying.  I was agreeing with you.  Don't you think that using a high round pick, like a 4th round should translate into a player that can contribute immediately?  Just look at what Ridley & Vereen did for us last year contributing a lot to the stellar running game.  There was no way some young player was going to take many carries away from BJGE.  Aside from returning a few kicks here and there, what has McNight done? You can find a guy to lead the league in KR anywhere, you don't need to blow a  4th rounder on him.

Speaking of busts, don't forget that Ellis guy they drafted last year.  I think he got deported.  And Wilkerson obviosuly has bust written all over him.  I would be willing to bet that Coples duplicates Gholstons numbers.

Sure Phat Rex/Mangione/Bustchise. Sure.  Hey, do you think McKnight's hammy will be ok for the opener?  Do you think Kenrick Ellis will be able to handle the Bills offensive front since Pouha is out?

    Kenrick Ellis. bawahah

    6-10 at best.

I just don't know anything about McNight's injury.  I just heard that that guy you said the Jets wanted real bad, Demps, isn't going to play this year.  I guess that means he's not going to be the best KR as you predicted he would.

Yes, your team, the Jets, Phat Rex/Mangione, had Tebow lobbying to come to the Jets. I posted the link and easily exposed you when you were signed on as JetMangione.

Just forget it. No one here is buying that you aren't him. We know you are. The question is, does Davedsone work to get you banned?

    That's the question.

I don't know who Davedsone is.  Is he one of the mods you keep talking about?  What link did you post? I didn't know you could get banned from the board.  Have you been banned?

And the laughs just keep on rolling in...as Rex Ryan tries to back-track from his comments that he didn't agree with GM Mike Tannenbaum's decision to draft WR Stephen Hill with their 43rd overall pick. Hill has not impressed, thus far:   http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/03/ryan-clarifies-stephen-hill-remarks/

What a buffoon that guy is. He let it slip that they have an entire committee in NY entrusted with deciding who to pick in the draft, not just one guy.  How foolish.   Imagine having a group of people that are involved just for a silly draft pick.  And can you even believe that a defensive minded coach didn't want to take a WR?  Hilarious!

DEL, seriously you're the yets and we're the Patriots. Both the Patriots and the Giants find your little circus you call a team the best comedy show running for 44 years and you guys get funnier  every season.Well at least the yets become a bigger joke nearly every move they make. THe yets comedy team makes other legendary comedy teams like The 3 Stooges,Abbott and Costello,Lucy and Desi, Jackie Gleason and the Honeymooners,Crosby and Hope, Martin and Lewis et al look down right somber.!!!!
