    If Antonio Cromartie were running the NFL, marijuana use would be allowed.

    If Antonio Cromartie were running the NFL, marijuana use would be allowed.

    With the Super Bowl featuring two teams from states that have legalized marijuana, the drug has become a topic of discussion around the NFL. Jets CB Antonio Cromartie has weighed in, saying players are going to continue to use the drug regardless of the rules.

    “They need to just let it go,” Cromartie said in an interview with Thisis50.com. “Players are just going to do it anyway. They just need to let it go. They just need to go ahead and say, ‘Y’all go ahead and smoke it, do what you need to do.’ ”

    Yeah,  Bustchise, you naming off Jet players isn't going to work on this board.   We are way to smart for those little games.

    I agree.Reading and re-reading this thread is like having a warm mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter day.Very familar and satisfying.It should be pinned at the top of the threads.

    I also think we should start a running NFL arrest thread to report and discuss the criminal activities of the players/coaches.That could be pretty entertaining.

    Re: The Jets......(A thread of laughs!)

         Those lovable NY Jets have a plan for 2014. Apparently, they will release "The Sanchize" in March, before he is due his $2mil. roster bonus. They will then seek to add veteran Bears' QB Josh McCown, to be the back-up for current QB-one, Geno Smith...and then draft a plethora of skilled positioned players, with which to surround Smith.

         This grand stategy is flawed for several reasons:

    1.) Smith is not a starting caliber NFL QB;

    2.) Who says McCown, a 35 year old UFA, will sign with them? After a very good year in Chicago backing up the injured Jay Cutler, one would thing that McCown would want a shot as a starter, for a team that can contend. Houston could be a possibility, should they decide not to invest their #1 overall pick on a QB, or to trade down. Or, should Houston draft say, a Blake Bortels, McCown could be a great stop gap starter, until Bortels learns the ropes. Cleveland also needs a QB...and already has talent nearly every place else;

    3.) Drafting WRs high to make your team great is not the answer. The Jets would be far better off working to improve their OL, pass-rush, secondary, and finding a real QB. They also would greatly benefit from adding a work-horse RB (LeGarrette Blount?). They have plenty of money to spend on free agents to fill holes. But, they should have learned a lesson about drafting WRs high after their recent Stephen Hill experience:  http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/jets-backup-plan-beats-qb-mccown-article-1.1698894

    So, what you're saying is that another QB would have won what?  12 games?  13 games for the Jets in 2013?

         Mike, I realize that you're still dazed from that 43-8 SB wipe-out, but if you want to ascertain what I'm saying, please read my initial post. If you did, you would know that I wasn't saying that...unless perhaps the "other" QB was named Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Andrew Luck.

         The Jets need OL help, a pass-rusher, secondary help, a QB, WRs, and RB help. Rex Ryan should have received some consideration for coach of the year with the job he did with his team last season.

    Jints...your G-men have lots of holes to fill. They should concentrate on their OL and DL, if they intend to make another run. They also badly need a couple of good young RBs to establish some sort of ground game, and take some of the pressure off of Eli.

    BUST-CHISE!!!???

    Everyone knows it's you Bustchise, aka, MileHighMike, aka, MeadowlandMike, aka...about 50 other aliases/personas...

    LMAO....talking in the thrid person trying to fool people...sick man...LMAO @ U

    The geek is currently talking to RKrap as if they're buddies in the Manziel thread where he claims the Pats have done poorly in recent drafts. lmao

    The irony of a Jets geek posting here, now under "Homerhead", telling Pats fans their good drafts the last 4 years in particular are somehow bad, on the heels of Dee Milliner and Geno Bust heading the list from last year's early Jets picks.

    It's fascinating watching Bustchise/Rico work with people actually believing he's not all the same dork troll.

    Well...all I know is that he's lost it since l'affaire SITUATION.....he's had a complete meltdown...I come back today and see 7 or 8 "OT" threads all started by "Phat Virginian", knowing it's BUST-CHISE...we should start calling Him BUSTCHISE1 and the KRAPPER BUST-CHISE2 since they are deyd-in-the-wool Jets Trolls...

    In terms of him convincing others he's not BUST-CHISE, it just proves that the room is chock full of dullards!

agree on all counts TP but I don't think they far off...with players coming back from injuries and the draft I think they will address those needs...and they know as an organization they have underachieved the past two years so I think they know what's what coming into this srason
