This is the guy RKrap was talking about last March when claiming the Jets were in a spending position like we were when I won our bet.

    Absolutely priceless.

Whoa there Mr Liar. I said that the jets would get under the cap with in a certain time frame, and not gut the team. They did get under at the date I said, and they went 8-8 last year with a rookie QB

I never, ever, talked about Goodson...never saw him play, ever.

    And I won that bet...

You are really mentally ill.  Do not make me start a thread for the board to vote in my favor with me easily winning that bet.

You took the bait, the bet, and then got embarrassed.

No, I said they would be under by a certain date. At 12:15am, 15 minutes after that date, they announced a new deal from Cro, getting them under....

    Thats a win for me....

I think your memory is off from that season as I repeatedly bludgeoned you all summer, and during the season as well.

The following says it all regarding the differences between the NY Jets and the New England Patriots franchises:

As voted by the fans of each of the two teams...the most memorable moments in the history of the two franchises:

    1.) Patriots: Adam Vinatieri's 45 yard FG through a driving snow storm to tie the AFC Divisional Championship game in 2002 (the Pats would go on to win that game in OT, on their way to the first on their 3 world championships during a 4 year span);

    2.) Jets: The Buttfumble.

         LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

    TEARS!

Barring him having photos on Woody Johnson, this has to be Rexie's last year in NY/NJ with the Jets.  No owner or GM keeps a coach after missing the playoffs 4 straight years in a row, but that is where that loser is heading.

    [/QUOTE]

Considering that the Jets won 8 games when many had them pegged for 4-6, I'd say Rex did a great job last year.

^What happened to "the Jets will only win 4 games this year?" While I obviously wanted more wins, I'll take 8-8 last season considering they had a rookie QB and were pegged for 4-6 wins.

That's what Jets fans should expect. Mediocrity. Congrats on missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season. Glad you were proud of it. Now go away.

I don't care how many useless wins they get, as long as they miss the playoffs.  This is what you don't get as an inbred.

Worse, their little tiny first round pick, stone hips, got a concussion on the same day.  Memo to war room:  when you draft little tiny people to be big hitters it doesn't work.

Re: The Jets......(A thread of laughs!)

"Me laughing at their arrogance backfiring as they spent years on here bashing bb, to now go quiet seeing how loaded this team is now, is really just that, bustchise."

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from camp reports on the defensive side of the ball. However I never assign wins on paper which it seems like you are tempted to do sometimes (e.g. who has better cap management, which to me is not the same as wins on the field).

But yeah, I really do appreciate that Belichick finally realized he needed to load up on the defensive side of the ball. I thought he was slow to change his philosophy but having changed it he's brilliant at managing it, far better than some in this forum would believe.

I still don't think we have enough on the offensive side of the ball, we're very Gronk dependent (and/or 2nd year receivers emerging and staying healthy which they weren't able to do last year). The odd thing is that I agree with you to a point that Brady isn't as good as he was - which means he needs more and better weapons. If the D and Gronk stay healthy this is a Super Bowl team, especially if Edelman can also stay healthy, he is looking to have a beast of a year.

As for the Jets, well, this thread is more satisfying when the Jets trolls are harassing our forum (Meadowland, Leon etc), but they'll be back soon enough.

I thought the Jets would be much better this year and I do expect them to play the Pats tough as usual, but this posturing by Ryan was a really really bad idea, again raising the bar for his team to crash into.
