Parcells also left a pile of turds whenver he left a team. Only head coach in the NFL history to do that 4 times, so gloriously so.
So you are revising your take on Carroll's stature as HC of the NEPs?
The point is, Parcells had a nasty habit of running out on his commitments.
Oh, you mean like BB did to the jets?
No, I don't. Parcells's contract stated that BB becomes head coach once Parcells steps down. That has nothing to do with BB, and it's pretty arrogant that Parcells ties in someone else's future endeavors to his own.
Parcells knew he couldn't win without BB that's why he did that.
You lose again.
I'd suggest you do your homework before pretending you think you have a leg to stand on.
Are you a complete madman? BB was obligated to the jets for another year.
"Kraft was reluctant to give up the first-round pick before knowing the outcome of the antitrust lawsuit that Belichick filed against the Jets and the N.F.L. on Monday. On Tuesday, the judge in the case refused to issue a temporary restraining order that would have freed Belichick from the Jets and allowed him to negotiate with other teams. Parcells called Kraft that night.
On Wednesday, Belichick and his attorneys dropped the suit." (nytimes)
You lose again for the millionth time.
