Pats should bring in Stallworth . . . he still can be used as a wideout and he is a solid gunner on special teams and they need one with Slater out for 6-8 weeks.

Sounds like they're looking for a LB. seems odd, as that seems to be a position of strength and depth. Perhaps I'm overanalyzing, but Spikes has looked really bad this season. He may very well go on to have a successful season, but may they be looking to trade him?

In light of Hernandez it's probably better we don't add any killers to the roster.

Yeah, because Collins has dazzled the whole NFL so far. Then there's those two future HOFers Hightower and Spikes to further make BB looking for a LB puzzling. LMAO

I guess BB isn't happy with the defense....and knows that it won't hold up to better teams?

Mebbe he's looking for other LBs cuz he wants to get rid of Spikes sooner rather than later.  In regards to DEs - mebbe BB is thinking that a better pass rush will cover up weakness in the secondary.

BB is just looking to improve the bottom end of the roster as he always does. Next.

He ought to try improving the starters instead.

More like he's looking for depth at DE in case something happens to Jones or Ninkodink. LB, on the other hand, is a mystery. He has a good one in Spikes and a solid back up in the Rutgers guy.

Of course it's lesser, but with the bad publicity we already have why in hell would we invite more criticism unless the move was to pay huge dividends on the field?

Are you sure you're a Patriot's fan, you've gone way over the edge from "objective fan" to patriot hater?

Are you really saying you haven't noticed an improvement in the defense, because it's a joke.  They're currently ranked as one of the top defenses in the league, granted they played the Jests and Bills, but both of them were good enough to beat their non-division opponent.  They are vastly improved on third downs and 2nd in the NFL in turnovers.

You can be objective all you want Babe, but try to not get so giddy about something bad happening to YOUR team, because you come off like a real hater.

The defense is Babe's Tom Brady, can't give them credit. It's part of their thing where neither can give credit to the other.

I'm not going to premature ejaculate about a D that has played two rookie QBs wozzy. As I said last season, with the addition of Talb and the moving of McCourty the D looked halfway decent. We will see when they face some stiffer competition.

It's only been two games.  Yes, probably improved - but the caveat is that you're talking about the Bills and Jets.  I'm not saying they're chumps, but they're not elite either.

Exactly.  BB keeps a list of players he can call if people get hurt and end up on IR.  He's probably building up his LB speed dial list.  I don't think you can draw any conclusions from it.
