And what? you have some kind of point? Dead money is dead money.  Rusty claims that BB factors in 20 mil of dead money a year.  Why would it matter where it came from?  Perhaps the Jets realize that any dead money on a QB with more playoff wins than Brady since he's been in league is not a good move.  Are you suggesting that because the Chiefs only owe Cassel 10 mil this year, they should cut him becasue he was the bottom ranked QB in the NFL?

17 million in dead money for one one player is ridiculously high.  That is the only reason the Jests will keep Sanchez this season.  He is terrible.  A huge bust.  Why do you think Mike T was fired dufus?  I look forward to him leading the league in turnovers again.  Jets fans have been waiting for Brady to retire for years.  I hope Sanchez starts for the Jets for another 10.  Gives you an idea of how good he is.  LMAO @ U.

Yaaawwn.  Who was that other bust who beat Peyton and Brady in the same post season and has more playoff wins than either since he's been in the league?  Riiiight, he's the only one.

Right be proud of those wildcard round wins.  Too bad he sucks too much sack to ever get a bye.  The numbers speak for themselves.  Never completed more than 57+% of his passes.  Never averaged more than 7 yards per attempt.  More INTs than TDs.  Leads the league in turnovers.  Never had a QB rating above 80.  Got benched for sucking so badly this season.  Enjoy not winning the division again next year.  I can't wait to see you spin it when he is released.  LMAO @ U.

Hey gang! Leons here! Who needs a spanking??

Brady and Sanchez don't belong in the same sentence together. Brady used to be great but as we have all witnessed, the beginning of the end of a stellar career is upon us.

Sorry TFB and Babe but old Leon just calls them likes he sees them. I'm not blinded by any sort of weird man crush over the guy. We all get old...even Tom Brady.

    Butler #41
    McCourty #27

And you wonder why people call people like yourself, irrational?

Do trolls and irrationals ever make sense? It'd be fine if their premise actually had somethinig remotely normal behind it, but there never is anything.

^^^^^^ Nothing but a LIAR and an IDIOT. Proof positive right there.

This twerp tries to lie his way out of it every time when people call him out on saying these suckball players are good. Here he touts 4 stiffs who are suspect to downright bust draft picks. LMAO@Rustytroll

    Good find Pezz!

How is anything that was written "a lie"? lol

All of those players were picked right where they were slotted to go in those drafts. In those drafts, those players represented talented NCAA prospects. Some were average here, one was a bust and one is a very good young player after being All Pro as a rookie in 2010.

This is what I mean.  You're all irrational.  You will do anything to find the NCAA prospect on D who didn't morph into Deion Sanders, Mike Haynes or Ed Reed to mask Brady's awful postseason performances since 2007.  You lost.   Pretending BB needed to draft future HOF players with every pick to replace the borderline HOF caliber players he lost is irrational.

Not every draft pick is going to be a star.

We've been over this.  PCMIV posted Ozzie Newsome's picks in recent years for context and its as bad or worse as BB's yields.

It's embarrassing that a small few here think they're a better coach or GM than BB.  Take your middle aged and elderly anger to a community center and take up cannasta or something.

You tout these stiffs as talent junior. That's lying because their talent sucks since three of them were/will not retained within their rookie contract and the other is a very suspect 1st round pick.

LMAO @ U.  Learn the game toolbag.  The dead money from cutting Sanchez this season is over 17 million.

False. I said if you're wise you build in 10 million in dead money as a buffer, because it's going to happen for every team.   And one cares that the 2nd or 3rd most successful franchise in the NFL here in NE has "dead money" either.

17 million for ONE player in Sanchez is HORRENDOUS.

    See the difference?

Every NFL team has dead money. It's how minimal you can make it year after year that matters.  The cap is a fluid situation, but if your GM sucks, your owner sucks, your QB sucks, you lose 9 starters from 1 season to the next, have awful player development in your pipeline, the dead money factor means a lot more.

    Get it?

Face it, the highlight of your life is playing a SB vs NE in the divisional playoff round where NE started 4 rookies on D and wasn't built to go win a SB.

Your team announced they would win the SB and then got pancaked on national tv in Pittsburgh, with a pathetic D allowing 24 points in the first half alone.

I'd be mortified if my team was loaded for bear and pulled that crap in a AFC title game.

More backpeddling, rusty?  Are you now saying that building in 10 million is the same as actually having 20 million of dead money as the patsies did?

Add in what their contracts are and I'll take McCourty all day, everyday moving forward.

But, I never said a first year player was better than any player who had already put in a few seasons, so you lying won't work.

Note how trolls say I said that.  Liars never win.

Queenie, you are pathetic!  McCourty was NEVER an All-Pro, just like Greene was not drafted in the second round, as you claimed yesterday.  STOP LYING.  The only legitimate All-Pro rating is PFWA.  The others are not recognized.  Just like the Pro-bowl.

And if anyone needed any more proof of what a fool you are, here it is. " I'll take McCourty all day" over  Revis. And what will you get? The same thing you've had since McCourty was drafted.  A bottom 5 pass defense.
