Our only hope is that Belichick is so smart he's acting stupid. Maybe he figures going 18-0 would make the next super bowl win too hard to accomplish. By barely getting in the other teams will take them lightly and therefore it will be like 2001 when they were under dogs.... I'm really only kidding.... The defense is so bad it is embarrassing me for them. At least in 2001 the defense was solid -

its possible the pats could finish 11-5.this is the best case scenero.the worst case is loseing our remainder away games, and not getting into the playoffs.or getting into the playoffs either winning the division,or wild card.witch means playing on the road,or hosting a home game and it being one win,and then done,or just done. -

The problem with all of the personnel turnovers and transition stuff is the fact that the core (of key players) get closer to contract renegotiations. In addition, they get a year older...more hits and injuries. So, will Brady still be the QB by the time the defense gets it and is ready to compete? Perhaps, they will all be up for new contracts and just looking to get paid (e.g. Samuel) by the time they learn? There has been nothing but trouble in the secondary, since Law left town. However, the Pats did get to enjoy Samuel (playing at a high level) for at least a year. -

Was he doing it in his Pat the Patriot outfit? It gives new meaning to doing "it" for old glory. -
