In response to Tyr17's comment:
Peyton - 166-81 for a 672 win % regular season
9-11 for a 450 win % post season
Brady - 156-46 for a 772 win % regular season
17-7 for a 708 win % post season
Brady has 9-4 record head to head vs manning...
How can anyone say peyton is better?
ESPN pundits and Colts/Broncos fans are the only ones that say PM is better than TB. ESPN has always been enamored with Peyton. The above numbers you referenced would be even more favorable to Brady if TB had Manning's receivers and vice versa. How would Brady have done with Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark for all those years ? And for that matter, how would TB do this year with Thomas, Decker, WW and the talented rookie TE the Broncos have ? And finally what would Brady's stats look like if he had played in a dome all those years and PM had to play some of his games in blizzard conditions ?
Now wait, Manning played last year outdoors after being out a season to have multiple surgeries to overcome a weak throwing arm due to a pinched nerve. Further he played on a new team, new system, outdoors.
His stat line - 68.6% comp rt; 4650 yds; 37 td; 11 int; 105.8 rating
Brady after his missed season with the same team, same system, same environment.
His stat line - 65.7% comp rt; 4400 yds; 28 td; 13 int; 96.2 rtg
Decker is a 3rd rdr, Welker is a cast off, Julius Thomas played only 1 year of college football. This is his 3rd year in the league and only had 1 catch during his first 2 years.
Brady's had the likes of Welker (when he was wanted), Moss, Hernandez, Gronkowski, Lloyd, Ocho, Branch, Moss. I'd say since 2007, Brady's had more weapons.
