to bye or not to bye?

what do you guys think? is it better to rest our players next week and play a first round game? or is it better to win next week and get the bye?

lots of fans think a bye week hurts a team from maintining their edge, but the Pats need the rest, dont you think?

Better to have a bye week for the playoffs. The team can rotate a lot of players through the game next week and reduce the snap counts for some.  Come playoffs, all hands on deck as those games are one and done and no next week!!!!

odds are mathematically still improved to get to SB if one has a bye.

I would rest anyone who is really dinged up, but put together the best plan for beating Buffalo as possible to help ensure those guys get 2 weeks of rest.  While NE had a tremendous physical effort yesterday, our guys are beat up.  Guys who would normally be getting rotated in and out of the lineup are either starting now or getting vastly more playing time, because there is nothing ahead of them or behind them at this point.  So rest the guys who really need it, and throw the kitchen sink of a monstrous gameplan together for the guys you do put out there.

Give BB an extra week to gameplan, hopefully we get the winner of the Colts and Chiefs to make the road easier.

Yeah why would you want the bye? I mean if you have it you only have to win 1 HOME game to get to the conference championship game......
