You were aware that Video has been produced of the pats doing the exact same thing AND that the Jets were taught a former pats player.  What should the league do to the pats?

Did you know it was revealed today that the pats actually engaged in the same act - and that it was told that a pats player taught the jets about it?

In our 2011 "culture" everyone is "overrated." If you don't "gush" and bloviate about every success then you aren't "in to it enough." Everyone is beautiful, magnificent, awesome, amazing, incredible. If someone recovers a fumble that happens to fall at their feet they are a "game changer." Of course Tom Brady is overrated. Who isn't "overrated" in todays world? Hyperbole is our collective "middle name."

Brady is fine when he's in control.  Get rid of the OC and get a real one, and they'll be fine.  You could tell Brady wasn't on the same page with the OC for a lot of the game...neither was BB for that matter.  Once Brady was put into hurry up, we were fine.

When the Pats should have been in hurry up, Brady inexplicably took his sweet time.

The reason America rejoices when the Pats lose is because they are classless when they win. They run up the score whenever they can, and point at the opponents bench - or dance on their field logo - when they win.

Yeah, like other teams in the NFL wouldn't score if they hada big lead. What is a team suppose to do. The NFL isn't like lttle League with a rule where if a team has so much of a lead the game is stopped. The team with the lead has to keep on playing. It's been said by others that know more than you that if a team with a large lead shuts it down, and doesn't put out the effort there more liable to be injured.

So much for your inane post. Crawl in a hole and retreat until you figure out how football should be played.

In Response to Re: Tom Brady may be overrated : Wrong. ... It's in football's best interest a professional team win.

I think they're ALL professional teams, .. hence it being known as Pro football.

If the point you are trying to make is that you'd prefer the team that wins comport themselves in a more professional manner then explain Brady's remarks at the beginning of the season when he stated hat he "hated" the Jets. Basically, that was this seasons start of the trash talking.  The rest is merely a matter of degree.  People that live in glass houses...

To answer the question, yes Brady is overrated.  Although after this loss there are already people questioning his ability and determination after three straight playoff losses.   Go figure.

That being said he is one of the best QBs during this era.  He's probably this years MVP and is almost certainly a HOFer.  Three quarters of the QBs in football are caretaker QBs.  Take care of the ball an don't screw anything up that might cost the game.  The others, to one degree or another, are QBs capable taking over a game and dominating.  The caliber of QB that defensive coordinators plan their defensive schemes against.  Brady is one of those QBs.  Today the Jets had a better plan and clearly executed better.

QBs get way too much credit when things are going well and too much blame when they aren't.  But hey, that's why they get the big bucks.

Brady is a great Hall of Fame QB! That said, its still a team sport and everybody must do they're job! This team is young and talented. Next years infusion of talent will make them even better. The team needs big time pass rushers and another top flight DB.

He is overrated in the way Montana, Rice and jordan are overrated.  They are very good at what they do, but not the Gods so many writers and fans make them out to be.  I think that their are qbs who if put into the patriots system wuld have the same success as brady.  The same could be said of the others I have mentioned here.  IMO.

What an ignorant comment to mention Brady with the likes of Montana, Rice, and Jordan.  None of those players were cheaters and they all had great talent and were full of class.  The only talent Brady has is watching videos of the other team to learn what they are going to do before they did it.  Now that he can't do that anymore, he is nothing more than a loser.  Don't even mention Brady with stand up classy guys again.
