Could be the DT we need to fortify a true 3-4. A space eater/run stuffer who has started 27 of his last 28 games played for SD. I know this isn't the popular position to go for with some fans here, but with a dominant run stuffing/gap filling d-line we open up the edges for guys like Nink,Jones,Hightower/ and Big John Stud if he comes aboard.

Imo if we get some quality beef next to VW in the trenches we are better suited for a 3-4 D as LB will be a major strength for us....like it used to be. Mayo, Spikes, Hightower, Nink, and throw in Chandler as little Willie Mac JR and we have a very talented crew of LB's

Well, he would likely play DE, but yes, I agree he could be a target if the Pats want to switch to a 3-4.  Still not sure if the personell matches up.  Could Jones be an effective OLB?

I like the potential of this guy, seems like it could be a good signing. Is he an upgrade over Deadrick? Team him up with Wilfork and we'd have Vince Vaughn in the middle...

IMO, he would be more of a rotation player with Vince W. and Love.
