VICK HAS CLOSED THE MVP GAP WITH BRADY!

will take brady and the win today but on a different angle that does matter for his legacy esp in comparison with peyton, brady took a step back in the MVP race today. vick had 130 yards rushing and about 275 passing. only vick could do this today, what a comeback versus the giants. was so hoping the jets would suffer the same fate just to watch NY'rs look for the nearest bridge to jump off! brady should still win it for he has been there for ALL games thus far for his time and will finish with the best record in the league but his lead is really shrinking and likely will continue to do so. will likely come down to character and how national media wants to define it. if they factor in their vick redemption bias, he wins.. if they want to reward the perfect mainstream cookies and cream role model, then brady wins hands down. will be interesting.. i still say these two have a date at the super bowl! if our DL doesnt get healthy, we will repeat the result of our last SB appearance!

There is no MVP trophy.  Well, maybe there is, but I sure don't care about it.

They're 12-2. Let Vick win MVP, Brady will have to console himself with a Lombardi (and a supermodel wife).

Not buying it.  Brady is the #1 rated passer on the highest scoring team on the team with the best record in football.  If that wasn't enough, he's led the team to what, 6 games in a row without a turnover and can set the mark for most passes without a pick.  Vick also missed 3 games . . . and one of those was a victory against ATL--the other 12-2 team.  Unless Brady and the Pats completely fall apart, this is easily Brady's to lose.

This is a hypothetical question: what do you like more, second chances made good or keep your nose clean and win?
The past few games, Vick has had his troubles - the Giants weren't allowing him to take his customary deep drops to complete his throws and used his lack of height to knock down a lot of passes. What separates Vick from a number of other QB's are his legs - if he takes off you're not going to catch him. Yesterdays comeback was epic. Juxtapose that with Brady's hiccup against the Dom Capers influenced defense and Ryan's results in Atlanta and the race got got a little tighter again.
I think Brady will win the MVP - since the Cleveland fiasco, he separated himself by putting up numbers qualifying for the record books. But if we do play the Eagles in the Super Bowl, we'll be looking at a team that believes they can run with anyone regardless of the score and win.

Brady played bad.  He throw another few interceptions that the D inexplicably didn't catch.  He has been throwing those all season long.  He looked weird all night, but particularly in his post game interview.  There was sweat dripping down his gorgeous face after a game he hardly even played in.

    Umm, no.  AFC>NFC.

Brady has played all the games.  Get off this trendy Vick crap.

I love how the one year the media can't immediately hand the MVP to Gomer, someone like Vick is now being mentioned during Brady's (arguable) best overall season outside of 2007.

    lol

Gee, can the media bias against NE continue further? When will this end?

I think that most the posters here do care. They need to close the gap on P. Manning, and stick another feather in their cap. It's important to many.

Re: VICK HAS CLOSED THE MVP GAP WITH BRADY!

Need to close the gap? Is that a joke?

Like when the media forcibly gave Manning the award last year over Brees or in 2003, when McNair led his team to the playoffs with broken ribs, outplaying Gomer?

    Those times?

Gee, yeah, Gomer really deserved the MVP last year over Brees. Yes.  Manning outplayed Brees last year. lol

We'll know that Brady's MVPs are earned, not handed to him as the defacto MVP brainwashed by the media contingent under the First Family's (The Mannings) suggestions.

I would rather have a TEAM superbowl championship than an individual MVP for a player on my team, Brady is already a hall of famer.

Only 10 teams in the history of the superbowl have won the superbowl with the NFL M.V.P..so who cares as long as Brady wins the Superbowl M.V.P

Really who cares? Not Brady. Not Bill. MVP is a popularity contest. Vick winning would fit in perfectly with the whole redemption story line the media has been feeding on all season. He's playing well let him have it. We'll just continue our rebuilding season that we gave up on weeks ago.

Honestly I don't really care about the MVP, but Brady will get it unless Chargers or the Eagles win the super bowl. Then it m=will be either Mike V or P Rivers.
