Warner Makes the Cards An Offer They Can't Refuse

In hopes of getting a deal done with the Cardinals, QB Kurt Warner has proposed an offer to the team...$23mil. over 2 years, and a pprovision that $1mil. be deducted from his salary for each of the 2 years if the Cards resign WR Anquan Boldin.

Supposedly, Warner's offer is less than an offer that hes' received on the open market: http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/KentSomers/47475

On ESPN they are saying right now that Warner's proposition was for $24 and the Cards floated $23 back at him.

So he is essentially saying I will agree to your $10 million dollar per season contract. . . the one they have been offering all along BTW . . . if they resign Boldin, which was at the end of the season his first priority demand.

Wow. It is amazing that after all the posturing by agents, all the coverage, the interviews on ESPN, and the fancy contract demands . . . nothing has changed.

If they want him they go to his demand of nearly $12 million per, unless they sign Boldin.

If I were SF I would bring in Boldin and Warner. LOL.

According to Clayton, he got a much better offer from SF.

Jesus must of told him to make that offer. 2 years $23 million for a old has been. Only a crazy person would thinks he can make it to the Super Bowl again.

Getting the Cards to a SB is a miracle of biblical proportions. Perhaps Warner is Jesus!!

What the hell is AZ thinking. Don't sign Warner and turn back into totally irrelevant? Are they just playing chicken with the man who finally took them to the playoffs and....oh yea..that little game at the end of the year!

so I take it they are perfectly ok with drafting Matt Lienhart 10th overall and then letting him ride the bench for 3 years.....that organization is retarded. If they are not sold on Lienhart trade him while you still can and start over when Kurt retires.
