    In the time that he played, no.  However, every year he got a little better, and he was damn good to start.  If he could have stayed on pace and stayed healthy, I believe he was certainly destined for Pats Hall of Fame at least.

    He was a really good TE, a matchup nightmare for defenses, too big for corners, too fast for LBs and most safeties. Elusive open field runner. 

    On the down side, he had some injury issues, he dropped a few and he wasn't much of a blocker. Well, that and the whole cold blooded killer, gang leader thing...

    HOF talk would have been legitimate in about 7 more years. Who knows?

    Hernandez had some good numbers but he had injury problems and was inconsistent at times. I'm guessing he would but up decent numbers but would not be able to stay health enough to make the HOF.
