If Brady were on the Jets, Rex's wife might have been able to fix him up at half time...just sayin...

With Rex tied up to a post, ball gag in his mouth, forced to watch.  That there is Jet heaven.

If we had scored on the 4th quarter drive we would have had 3 and a half on the clock. You have to hope for a 3 and out. That would have left plenty of time on the clock. The thing we didnt do was score points. Branch drop. Drops killed us but you have to account for them.

Apparently, they will go so far with this cover story, he will have surgery on the thing.  Wow, that is dedication

Another dumb post,  plus if TB didn't play we bring in Hoyer. Nothing against Hoyer but he's not shown us anything so far, but of course he's not had a chance, but the playoffs against the Jets was not the time to bring him in.

Re: WEEI: Brady had fractured foot?

First off, Brady nor anyone on the Pats has offered that as an excuse for losing nor will they or should they.

Some really wacky comments on this thread though.

    "nahhhh, just a fractured EGO!"

Um, he's going in for surgery. Wake up!

"is there some kinda subtle pattern emerging where TFB's ailments always seem to be conveniently leaked after tough losses?"

If you mean that Tom Brady chooses to wait until the season ends to have surgeries, then yes, you are correct, what a wild coincidence that he would wait until the season is over.

"  Tom doesnt need his foot to throw anyway.... "

You should be banned for knowing so little about football.

"ust an excuse not to play in the probowl."

Umm well he does want to get surgery and recover in time for training camp. Got a problem with that?

"Brady and his hurt foot was a big part of the loss to the Giants in the SB"

So you liked our chances in that Superbowl with a backup QB? Wow.

""cour brought up only good point, how the hell are you not prepared for ZOne, its only one or two, zone or man, but the Wr's made it seem like they werent prepared for it...whos fault is that?"

Perhaps the best observation on this thread. And the halftime adjustments were not impressive either.

"Don't care. I love Brady. He played in the game. That's means no excuses and that goes for any player on any team suiting up."

TomPenny I don't often agree with you but I'm with you 100 percent on that one!

It's a well known fact that having a stress fracture in your foot makes you more confused when trying to breakdown a defense.  Often it results in an incompletion after having 7 or 8 seconds to find a guy.

You are pretty active when your team wins.  Nowhere to be found on a certain monday in December though.  Brave "man".

Non-news.  Read my lips: Brady wants to get out of playing the Pro Bowl.  Too embarrassing, so he chooses to have the surgery now.  Period.

Really? So you'd prefer he play a meaningless game and put more stree on his foot that could affect him starting training camp in 6 months?

    You're embarrasing
