Unfortunately, Jr. has been hurt for a month with extremely limited practice.  He is also questionable.

Welker was the Pats "ace in the hole." Hate to say this, but we're in deep sh-t without his constant threat to run and catch into the big middle. There comes a point in a big game when something becomes the fatal straw. Welker's absence could be it. Freakin' Jets are salivating like mad-men, now.

    However, Pats 31, Jets 20

MikeReissPatriots' final 4 inactives are Ohrnberger, Matthews, Simmons and Welker. The big news is Welker. Rookie Julian Edelman must rise up.

They did activate law firm.   Faulk may have a different role today.

I agree with the person who said Welker shouldn't be returning kicks. The Giants made this fatal mistake a few years ago with Jason Sehorn.

BB has players on this squad he thinks will do the job.  Let them step up and see the chips where they fall.  We've had lots of "oh-oh"s before and things worked out fine.

Welker Jr. Gotta hand it to Mike Reiss. He called this one in mini-camp.
