So, what does that say about his decision to leave the Pats?  The Pats aren't a team on which he can count as continuing to satisfy his " I want to win.... " statement?  Apparently leaving his friendship with Brady behind was not really that hard, was it?  When all is said and done, Welker wanted to get paid.  Yes, it is understandable getting paid is important for a player given there is no guarantees they will even last a season.  It does appear more than anything else that he put his ego to get paid above all else considering he was already part of a winning franchise and with a QB who also believes winning is most important.  You know, between his agent, who was driving this getting paid issue, and the fact he did get married recently, one wonders how much the influence of those persons drove him?  Basically the whispers in the ear of "we can get two more million dollars from the Broncos, sc*ew the Pats and Brady, let's go!"  Both have much to gain from those extra 2 million dollars!

Maybe he should learn to catch the ball at crunch time in the offseason and he would already have a ring

Broncos were clearly a better team than the patsies last year with a new QB who hadn't played in a year coming off neck surgery.  They sure did give the Ravens a better game.

How were the Broncos  "clearly" better than the Patriots last year? They played head to head and the Patriots crushed them.  Is your criteria for evaluations of teams based solely on their play against the Ravens? You must have the Eagles and Bengals rated pretty high.

When you hear that Wes reached out to Denver, not the other way around it becomes clear that this move was for personal reason. I think his wife was the reason he  left PATS.. For Wes to state that he wanted to win is riduculous, he dropped the ball and Pats have been in the hunt every year. So that statement just doesn't make sense. It became clear to me when he said that he wanted to play their and they would work put the money later, so his Hooter wife got him to commit career suicide so she could be back home... No more vacations with Tom & Gisele, I'm sure Peyton's wife will embrace her and the Manning clan.. Not!

Please.  Welkie is pissed he didn't get more money to hang out more with Brady on a daily basis.  This whole best buddy thing isn't getting enough play in the press. It's a huge reason why BB cut the cord.

Whenever Brady or Welker blew a play in the postseason, they never acted like it meant anything.

Pissed? Why?  After all of the Brady bashing you do, certainly you must think Manning is the better QB.

No. Manning throws 3 INTs vs Brady's 2 INTs in the postseason.

    Brady>Manning

no, manning threw 1 int, had an uncalled pass interference that went for a td and had a similar brady like fumble....except with brady they called it a tuck.

    manning-3 tds

    brady-1 td

So, you judge QBs solely based on their post season play?

Rusty doesn't really work in facts unless they suit his perspective.  Like here.  Sure Manning had the int's, but if I recall correctly, 2 of them were off his receivers hands, but yeah blame Manning.

Funny how his offense still managed to put more points on the board in colder weather than Brady's.
