Both are good players, but one of them might not be playing in the next game, that to me is what counts...playing in games.

Danny Ammy wins for me, busted groin and all and still fought it out.

New England deserves a better class Slot Reciever, so I'm going to give it to them. I am the Patriots very own Amendment.

DA is the biggest reason the Pats won today with a number of clutch plays, while Wes easily could have cost the Broncos a victory with the two major gaffs that he committed. No comparison. CLUTCH performances get a premium.

Doesn't matter if he gimps as long as he plays like he did today!

was impressed with amendolas catches in 2nd half, it was nice to see, but the way he plays ( so hard) the kid wont last 16 games, one thing we knew about wes, he will play all 16, and then some!

What good is a player who drops the biggest passes in his carreer no matter how often he plays?

And you forgot the drop by Wes that the Ravens did not challenge which at that time the score was 17-14 Ravens and the Broncos would have been punting--bad coaching decision not to challenge--- was a big momentum changer because Denver put up 7 right after--big swing!!

    Re: wes vs. danny

Wes and Danny were a wash in terms of what they did to help their team win . . . the problem is Wes turned a good Denver offensive into a great one . . . and Danny being added to our team was just a replacement that will produce just about the same as last year  . . . although he may be able to do it for more years at a lower cost but that doesn't help if the Pats do not spend the extra money on players that can produce!

Did Danny take pressure off of the other receivers that allowed them to produce?  How about Welker?

Its not all about the numbers.  It also matters how and the way in which the defense decides to game plan and adjust for a particular player.

I'll take the guy who makes the big catches at the big moment in the game to lead his team to victory.  Not the guy who drops easy catches, fumbles punts and needs two garbage time TD passes to be saved from a lynching.

I think I've seen you say this already.  How many Welker bashing posts did you write before he left?  How many clutch moments did Welker have as a patriot?

    Me too.

Of the 10 catches by DA, 9 gave them first downs and 7 were on 3rd down conversions.

Rally, why did you have to start back with your trolling?  Pretty sad when you have to make up things to try and push your agenda.  Maybe the Pats wouldn't have barely beat a weak Bills team if he wouldn't have left part of the game due to............. yep, an injury already.  I don't think Welker ever left the Denver game.

You know Welker didn't almost cost them the game.  It's sad when you, as well as some others, can't separate yourselves enough to be objective.

No TD's for Danny but he kept the game winning drive going twice with a bad groin.
