The Wildcat on a given down is a boom or bust type of call; you either get a TD or you get nothing.  That's why there is a lot of reward because if the play breaks down in one area it's all over.

PrarieMike nailed it - gap integrity will be incredibly important.  My main concern is on short yardage plays because they could confuse the front seven enough to earn one or two yards every set of down if they really wanted to.
