    What did Denver really fix.

Not sure after watching the SB Denver has done anything in FA to fix the reason why they lost. I would say the lost was more on the offense than the defense. Discuss!

Talib probably won't even play in any playoff games, Demarcus Ware might have a resurgance, and TJ Ward is a hitter but that doesn't help the offense which just got a little weaker with the departure of Decker and Beadles.

Elways is panicking with these moves.  They are good players but at a huge cost.  And no team has ever won the Super Bowl after making splashy free agent moves like this.  Ask the Redskins, the 2011 Eagles, and the Miami Dolphins from last year.

But the most important thing to consider, did any of those teams have Peyton Manning at QB and coming off a SB trip?

Ward and Talib are upgrades over Bailey and  RC . Ware is all right even though i heard Charle Cass a former GM Say he had trouble beating average tackles. But should play along with VM.

It wasn't a one game season... sure they got smoked in the SB, most teams would've that day, but they were a good team.  They certainly got better and tougher on the defensive side of the ball... Talib can cover, Ward is a hammer that is VERY good vs. the run and Ware is a true pro and should be productive across from Miller, assuming he's back healthy and doesn't get suspended again.  Miller could prob learn a few things about professionalism from Ware.

Their dismal secondary added a couple of nice players and they added Demarcus Ware, one of the most feared pass rushers of the past 5 years, to an already good d-line. Who do you double? Ware or Miller, pick your poison.

Better Defense - Colts in their manning days or what he now has in Denver?

I think they are very similar, on O Broncos might have slight edge but what did Manning do with all those teams?

they have stengthened themselves for the short term......still can't believe they gave Talib that much money for that many years.

Ward being a hammer makes them better of the bat.. That man can FN HIT. If they had no cap in football and it was like baseball i would have paid ward what he wanted or close to.

They got stronger on defense.  Sure, injuries can play a big factor but that is the case for all teams, as we well know.  But one thing is for sure, We got Revis and they got Talib.  We got the better deal there!!  I would be pretty excitied if we got Ward and Ware.

Yeah, he's certainly the type of player that I'd love to see added to the defense!

Denver did real good, just by adding Ward and Ware. Smart signings by Elway. They are using the rising Cap numbers, for next 2 years where they wont be in that trouble as many believe.

They're better on paper, for sure. But, questions: Will Miller be back at 100%, Ditto Ware? Ware is an upgrade on Phillips and Talib on DRC, but not huge in either case and can either of them finish the season?

Ware is in that same boat as Allen, Peppers, Tuck. Best days are in the rear view, but if they are healthy, they can still be very good. It's not like he took any kind of discount to go there.

Ward is a nice add, not much doubt there.

It's insane to say they did not improve their team.

Thry have two premiere pass rushers and a good back end now. Add that to Vickerson, Miller, Wolfe, and Harris Jr and they have a very strong starting defense.

They will be very solid if healthy in the postseason.

Remember, Terrance Knighton was a monster against our oline. Add Miller and Ware around him and youve got oline problems

If Del Rio can gel the players, it will be a tough unit...Wnot be easy, but if he can do it, this is a very dangerous D

Till they get themselves a playoff caliber QB, they didn't fix anything!

I disagree.  With a much improved defense, Seattle is not dropping 43pts on them.  Also, with yet more pressure on the QB, and two guys in the secondary known for intercepting or removing receiver from ball, there would be more opportunities for Denver to score.  So yes, they did indeed fix something.

Strengthened the D - that's a certainty.  Not sure they've done anything on the O except become less effective.

Really? Ware will be 32 this season. Those gaudy sack totals of his are long gone. Crap shoot.

A china doll CB and a broken down LB strengthens the D? BIG maybe.

Unless that D starts playing O at a high level, Denver won't score any more often even with added opportunities.
