Sam is right.
I don't think Woody is hurt. I don't think he ever was.
He got crunched pretty good (and dropped the ball -- a very big no-no) and he just needed to come out and get his sh*t together. He was held out as a precautionary measure in the same way Welker and Branch were. The league rules concerning concussions are very clear. If Woodhead was being examined by independent doctors, we would know about it.
I fully expect to see Woody doing his thing Sunday night.

I agree with the fact he got stuffed and coughed up the ball. I thought that was the only reason watching and didn't realize he could have received a concussion. He may have got his bell rung but I think the fumble was the biggest factor with BB. -

Great News, Ol' Fat Rex can say how well Reavis did against Reggie Wayne and can shut down anyone. But can he shut down Woodhead, Welker, Branch, Tate, Hernandez, Gronko, Crumpler, Edelman, Price. And who knows maybe Dan Connolly could be thrown into the mix. He can cover one but someone will be open, and #12 will find them. -

Edelman can not replace Woodhead, not even close. There is no one on the roster that can play the change of pace RB and 3rd down RB like Woodhead. If he does not play the Jets will win. His ability to gash his old team was key to the 45 -3 beatdown we put on the Jets.

last I heard was that he was at practice and not wearing a red jersey so full contact. Standard rule is if a player gets a concussion, they are pulled from the game. In the Pats case, I'm guessing it was precautionary since the game had no meaning. -
