of games this week:
mine:
1 indy over hou (first seed for pats)
2. balt over denver (protection for pats bye)
3. cowboys over pitt (Pitt to miss playoffs)
4. wash over cleve (put giants out of playoffs)
5. Atlanta over giants
6. seattle over buff (hope they get in ahead of sf; sf longer raod and or loss in playoffs)
7. jets over tenn jets win out and keep sanchez, tannebaum (continued futility), and get lower draft pick
priority of our game outcomes?

id like to see baltimore beat denver, but its very unlikely with how well denver has been playing and how poor baltimore has been playing....that indy vs houston game is interesting because andrew luck is more then talented enough to shred that houston defense, but that indy defense cant stop a nosebleed, as seen when they came to gillette. one that i would like to see happen that i think could happen is dallas over pittsburgh....i think it will be a good game and im hoping dallas wins it.

how does wash winning this week put the giants out of the playoffs?
it obviously doesnt, hes saying you would want washington to win for a chance that the giants could miss the playoffs.

rg3 will not be 100% sunday but probably doesnt have to be to beat the browns
yea the skins should win, if they cant beat the browns then they definitely dont belong in the playoffs.

All except 5 and 6. Buffallo over Seattle for lower draft pick. Tenn over the Jets because they are the Jets.

As a Pat's fan whatever scenario gives us the 1 or 2 seed is all I care about. Although #7 would have tremendous entertainment value for next year.

is Denver playing that well? Or is the opponant the past 4-5 weeks been playing so poorly? I like the Ravens in the upset this week...and I think CLeveland gives the Brocos a game as well

HAHAHA! I agree with all of your! The only one I would change slightly is #2. Baltimore over Denver plus Peyton gets sacked and suffers a knee sprain that keeps him out of action for the rest of the year!

What a dumb thread. As Pats fans we all know what we'd like to see. There is no "priority". They all have to occur for the ideal situation.
Please get to a college, Bdbreu. "Priority" isn't the right word there whatsoever.
Rusty your out of line here. If you dont like the thread dont comment! Set aside your biases and dislikes for the good of the forum.

to fall asleep quickly after a late game. :)
Priority #1 is for defense to continue to improve in preperation for playoffs. I think the defense is going to have to "step up" their game for any low scoring or close games - so, that they can shut down an opponent when needed the most.

The one team I think is most important to face at home in Foxboro rather than on the road is Denver. Manning would have perhaps a little more difficulty here than there.
In any case I do like all 7 of the outcomes listed (including the Jets winning! for exactly the reason given - but I am not sure they can win all three games they have left because they really are a bad team... and if the Jets lose you really can't mind that).
If we make it to the SB I ahve mixed feelings about who I want to face. On the one hand it would be nice to make the Giants face a healthy Pats team and pummel them. On the other hand I do not rally want them to go anywhere in the playoffs and I think SF is a more deserving team anyway. I would also rather see the Packers or Atlanta or Chicago or Seattle.

Pats probably have to win on their own merits.
IND have injury problems, two of the starting O line ( center Samson Satele (ankle) and right tackle Winston Justice ) are not making the trip to HOU because they are injured. Running back Delone Carter (ankle), linebacker Kavell Conner (hamstring) and safety Tom Zbikowski (knee) also will not make the trip. Plus Texans are kind of ticked off overe Monday and want to take it out on IND.

The Browns are a better team right now than most give them credit for. If RG3 doesn't play, I expect the Browns to win.
