    I think their waiting for Pittsburg to make a signing or two so that would make it harder for them to match NE's offer. As was stated in earlier posts.

    Abraham went to Florida before NE

     




    and supposedly he wasn't invited, it was a self-invite.  At least that is what someone in the Dolphins org was saying.  IMO, he was trying to create leverage in his negotiations with the Patriots.

    just speculating...but if you were playing Penny Poker would you tell your fellow players what cards you're holding? If the Pats are waiting for the Steelers to add more FAs and thus use up their cap money it's in the best interest of the Pats to not reveal what they plan to offer which would only help Pittsburg save enough capital to resign Sanders.

    Well, it seems like the pats now need to sign sanders. If not, we just created a big crater in our WR corps with welker and Lloyd gone. Either that, or perhaps they have other plans ?

    if pitt knows this, is it possible they count on that and make room for it.

    me too, heard reported on radio he missed the flight htey had for him, then took a flighton hisown dime and no one was there at miami buis office to meet him
