Great lineup except for the Chardonnay. Is your grandmother coming over? hehe

Jesus. I don't really eat much in these situations, usually just a healthy amount of drinking.

I take it you missed the part about the wives, LOL!

Is that what they drink? Blech. That buttery stuff is the worst unless you scored some that wasn't produced in French Oak.

Try some Gruner Veltliner from Austria. Little pricey, but it's awesome white wine at any time.  Probably $12 a bottle.

Uh oh . . . Rusty has decent taste in wine, too . . .

The French do chardonnay better than the Californians . . . they avoid all that oak.  Like you Rusty, I hate overoaked whites . . .

Heading up to DC this weekend for the Inaguration on Monday, so not sure. We'll all probably head to a bar, which I don't actually prefer in these situations. Way too many distractions.

Anyway out of here for the weekend. I hope everyone is in good spirits on the flip side.   Go Pats!

    Rusty,

Are you coming by choice or work related?

Tailgate with my two brothers and the local HS FB coach. On tap German lager beer for them and Tokaji Hungarian wine for me. I'm the D'Driver.

Menu: Thick Italian Sausages with Home made beanpot of Boston baked beans pre-converted to a 2 alarm chili ( no sodium) with snappers removed, aided by a Russian style potato salad (mayo/slight vinegar mix), onion, celery and sliced boiled egg on a bed of cabbage. Post game tailgate, NY sirloins pre-marinated in Garlic sauce with leftover Pot salad and beanpot. We have a tent covering that over extends the van in inclement weather. Come on over!  A few of you know us already ... ;-)))
