    Caesar1177, based on what?  The ONE time we did it in recent history?  We have used a 1st rd pick in ALL of the other drafts that BB has been here for.  Only with 2 1sts have we not used it as much, and when we didnt, we got a pick next year that turned out to be Mayo.  So I think he (BB) knows what he is doing, and you obviously havent been watching the pats.

    Mordecai:

    2003, trades the second first round pick to B-More. Could have gotten Polamalu.
    2009, trades the first round pick for Chung. Could have gotten Clay Matthews.

    Twice. But whatever, its this teams whole philosophy of "we can coach em up." Hey, maybe they one the Super Bowls because of the coaching AND the players - not just the coaching. There is a bit of arrogance around this club. Having known a few of the aforementioned players, that is their perspective. I doubted it. But this year, I now see where they are coming from.
