What you thought the director of player personal would be looking at FA''s and trying to work out deals? Of course not we need to find another Rutger DB to replace Talib and Gregory.

Which, of course, is the reason he's at Bama's Pro Day - to check out Rutgers players.  Um-hmm.

Re: Where is Nick Caserio today?

This sucks alot...I'm fine with this approach to free agency as the team always seems to get by but this is stupid, the premier college in football is having their pro day and the patriots director of player personnel is at a school that had one singular player invited to the combine. Yeah ok Bill your children went to the school, you don't have to increase the schools sporting profile by drafting all their players. If he looked deeply at this move is it really making the best decision for the team or is it just BB trying to get one over on everyone else in the league by looking where others don't?

Maybe looking at kind of unknown prospect OG/DT Antwan Lowery never a starter but has played both positions 6'3" 335lbs but unlikely.

Oh, you didn't hear? Lot's of folks on this message board seem to think that BB doesn't have a clue how to draft or find free agents. But he mysteriously keeps ending up in the playoffs year after year with a shot....yep....guy sucks at this.

F#ck Rutgers!!! This is horrifying!!! Imagine if the first 5 players taken by the Pats in the draft were all from Rutgers? It would be funny to see the media commentary on that if it happened.
