where you stand on the offseason, vote

Thought I would start a numbers count, since I disagree strongly with those that are panicked at the early stages of free agency.  those that think we should have dropped some coin on marginal free agents in peppers or dansby.  although I think dansby is a great tackler, we need a pass rush specialist, thus marginal for us.  the jets can have antonio cromartie,  I give those the boldin arguement, only thing is the contract boldin wants is out of the pats price range with the signing of wilfork and bodden, and hopefully the resigning of brady and mankins.  anyways get your vote in and lets see where the majority stands.

kansas... why do you want Olsen? The Patriots don't use TE's in the Passing game other then as an outlet it would make more sense if they drafted the young Crumpler so to speak in the 3rd or 4th round.

if we had a reliable catcher at TE I bet we would use the TE.  especially underneath with welker out.

I voted for Choice: C or none-of-the-above, because I don't like what's become of the issues here...  See we need more guys through greater infrastructure, and my town's roads meanwhile aren't gettin' any better, An issue you never even addressed in your platform.  Alogether I wasn't too fond on either of the candidatorial choices in Post #1, Both of whom seemed far more concerned with slandering the other guy, rather than trying to run a positive-approach campaign.  This 2 selection system-poll is for the birds imho, and gets corrupted among party lines...  In all, I have very serious questions regarding either poll-choices overall legitamacy, honesty, and experience.  And who's this hagen fella I keep reading about?  Sounds to me like HE'S the real puppeteer behind Both Selections and the one who's trully running the show.  I question therefore campaign sponshorship, voter sway, and potential 7-11 slushee funds (wish someone would buy me a slushee)...  Either way, I really DO want to see the poll-outcome, But I'd have to go totally against my ethical commitment here and actually VOTE for 1 or the other...  Right now I'm steadfast and stern in my committed policy of non-polling on this particular platform, BUT If I DO want to see the outcome-I'm gonna vote B, which again-NOT because I want to, but because I like 7-11 slushees...

I held out for as long as I could...but I caved 1 minute after pressing enter on my previous post.  I don't want anyone count it though (although I do like being part of the spoken minority).  Hmmm, 17-3, I mean 17-2- whole lota people with questionable overall ethics on this board though, by voting along this 2-party line.  Thought there'd be at least a few more dissenters too.  Overall, I don't care enough; Wish I hadn't voted now...coulda held out for that slushee.  D#mn, I'm like a housecat who hears someone scratching on the vinyl couch, just to get the housecat out to investigate...I really got no will-power.

Re: where you stand on the offseason, vote

I used the most scientific fact finding tool available in my voting, I closed my eyes!
Many are concerned with the fact that the Patriots dont use a tight end any longer. With the advent of Welker catching and usually getting first downs as easily as a girl scout selling out of cookies it would seem reasonable not to use the TE to go to other than blocking. Now with adding Crumpler Brady should have an outlet other than Moss and Edelman. This whole situation could open up nicely if the Patriots had a running back that was interrested in running to the goal line instead of following the pretty white lines that go east and west. Tight End is a tough position as Laz had described in his writings ( I heard the NFL printed a copy of it and is using it for owner meetings). Tight Ends catch then get mauled by no less that half the team, Welker was incredibly elusive much like a groups of Nats in the hot Georgia sun, you swing at them but miss every time. The only problem I see with the TE for the Patriots, if they dont get running backs it will once again give opponents an easy detail of who to cover on the Patriots offense. Laz you need to bo and talk to BB and find out just whats going on!Yell

I'm hoping someone will just find me here on BDC Messageboards and say, "Hey, Ya wanna be some sort of strategic coordinator for the Patriots and make 200k a year?"  Or at least some editor for a paper or web-page will say, "Hey ya wanna head our entire array of journalists as the head honcho with a corner office making 150k a year?"  See, Then I can go to the interview and they'll say, "Wow! You did Great! I'd offer you the job, but I gotta first wonder why you wore a sock-puppet with beads for eyes and a paper tongue, on your hand for this job interview...".  Then I would say, "Oh, I didn't realize I was wearing a sock-puppet."  Then the interviewer would probably say, "You were turning around and talking to him whenever I asked you a question. In fact, You did so on even the very first question for 15 minutes before answering the question, 'What is your name'?"  "His name is Rick," I'll then tell the interviewer, at which time security will escort me out of the building...

Hagen " mosdef " is one of the biggest losers on here. And exactly who do you want in F/A , theres nobody left worth signing. You keep saying things like the PATS havent done much in " the early stages " of F/A , like theres so many other good players out there worth paying. And Q was out of their price range , we couldnt afford him. Listen Corky , but Q was a steal in terms of the trade and the signing. Hes a top ten rec. with 3-4 years left of stud play left in him and it only cost them 10 million in guarenteed $ , thats out of our price range in a un-capped year. Moron. And for the past couple months Ive heard you say stupid chit like all we need is a pass rusher , you fit in wonderful w/ the other losers on here. You obviously dont watch PATS games because we need alot more than that. Like someone to play the 5 technique , another ILB , that position has as much need as any , how about a corner that isnt burnt like toast to go opposite Bodden and our S group is " mosdef " not all set. We could absolutely use an upgrade there. Nice try though , go back to the kiddie table and dont spill your sippy cup you bib wearing velcro sneaker loser!

this post is most certainly slanted.  The main forces opposing each other to date on this board are those that think the patriots should have signed some free agents and the others that think they shouldn't.  Since I created the poll I added my own thoughts into it.  If you don't think its a fair poll, I understand and don't vote or create your own.   the reason for adding the slant was my belief that people didn't like the free agent class and thought it was to early in the off season process to hit the panic button.  the other group thinks the patriots haven't done anything this offseason and much of it started in the first 48hrs of free agency, which is the instant gratification seekers.  Sorry can't be neutral.  Strong feelings against the panic button pushers on this site.  I find them worse then the trolls.  at least the trolls are trying to get a rise vs the patriot fan who has become spoiled and expects every draft pick to pan out and every high priced free agent to sign with the patriots just like the ultra successful redskins.

anyways, you can vote and explain your vote if you don't like the choices.  such as voting yes, but stating I wouldn't call the free agent class marginal etc. you pick.

but thank you for participating despite your objections to the wording of the poll.

Re: where you stand on the offseason, vote

Wow, three entirely different forms of humour out of my 3 posts on this thread, and I don't even get a chuckle outta poster 1...  I mean, the first satire was decent I thought, then the transitionary one coupled my anti-political notions into self-deprecatory humour-I mean it was somewhat weak but certainly neccessary, FOR the third form of total slapstick self-idi#cy by myself...

I mean sheez, no dinner gala invites to my mansion for you Hagan.  Truthfully, I don't have a mansion and have never thrown a dinner party and silk napkins?  I don't even have paper napkins at my place (which is a television box in the alley of a liquor store and a rollerskate rink...my friend toothless jim broke a bottle over my head to secure the fridge-box...livin' large has made jim pretentious, he brushes his teeth)-thus, dinner for me usually consists of something like a half-eaten microwaved fishstick brownie meal washed down by some malt liquor and wiping my mouth with my-well, I don't even care enough, so I just let the food fall off on it's own accord or I save the crumbs for my best-friend, thadeus tickle, my pet rat (for all those that are now curious, I syphon electricity from a car charger and vinegar).
But see my point is, WhoTH is apolitical on a simple Sport's Poll in a message chat room?  Followed closesly by second point which is, homeless people are urchins and burdens on this society.
