Who is under more pressure Childress,Favre,Moss, Belichick

With the trade made who is under the gun now? Is it all or nothing in Minnesota?
Does Childress go if they fail?, does Favre walk early?, does Moss enter free agency? Is BB under pressure for trading Moss and the Pats tank?

Thanks Jr. but there's only one King. To answer your question Childress. With Favre, Pederson, and now Moss they better win and win now.

BB is not under fire period... he'll run this team till he's had enough.  Moss doesn't really have any pressure and favre does what he want's... Childress need's to win now.

    So just Childress

BB will be caoching (the Pats), when Moss has reired.  BB has already won (a few times) and continuesto coach one of the winningest teams ever.  How could there be pressure on him?  He's doing what he loves and does it better than anyone.

    BB is probably relieved.

Favre, like someone mentioned doesn’t care (probably regrets coming back)

Childress and Moss need to win and perform. Moss to get the contract that he wants and Childress to keep his job.

I hope Moss is really happy. I truly wish him the best. IMO it just wasn’t working out here in NE for him.

Re: Who is under more pressure Childress,Favre,Moss, Belichick

Let me tell it like it really is!
Favre now has one of the most lethal WR in the history of football. If Favre and Moss become a scoring machine (which is highly doubtful) then the trade for Minn. looks wonderful. Favre is constantly under too much pressure and Moss now on his team will be double covered, and without the other threat of the ball going to Welker. This will go only one of two ways for Minn. Either good, or very bad for Favre and Moss.
Either way BB in my opinion has made the best choice possible. Everyone is playing nice at the moment but Moss was a poison starting to spread. The Patriots will do fine without him, stacking up 5 to 7 yard plays like they use to and with much more and better offensive weapons. Hernandez will fill in nicely for Moss, instead of 20 to 30 yards deep, he will cross the middle and stay in the 10 to 15 yard quick pass range eating up yards and first downs.
This will turn out to be one of BB best moves in recent years for this team.

Re: Who is under more pressure Childress,Favre,Moss, Belichick

In my opinion, it's all on Farve.  No one else.  If he throws picks because Moss won't fight for the ball, it'll be on Farve.  Childress, allegedly, knew nothing of the trade.  BB is already off the hook.  The Pat's aren't expected to do anything because we're rebuilding and... you know... it's the jet's year.  pfft!

That being said, who has the most upside?  Farve?  he should win.  He's got AP, Moss, Rice, Farve and someone I'm forgetting.  Plus a Def.  Moss?  No, he's just a guy in a potentially lethal offence.  Childress?  not even going to comment on this one.  The answer?  BB.

If he does something with THIS team?  With all the 1st and 2nd year players? Trading the almighty mid season?  Without an OLB on the roster?  With ??? who are the db's again?  Didn't he lose 1/2 of them for the season already?  Including Leigh Bodden?  Please.  He'll cement himself in the... no... what's after the hall of fame?

He couldn't have played this any better if he tried. Farging genius.

BB not under fire because he knew Kraft had no plans to extend Moss. Plus, those 3 SB rings he gave Kraft still hold water. He's not going anywhere.

Depends on who you listen to. If you listen to sports media it would be anyone who has anything to do with the Vikes. After all the media has already awarded them a trip to the SB for the second year in a row while writing off the Pats before week one.

Chilly just signed an extension, so he's okay no matter what happens. Favre is done after this year no matter what. Moss won't get the money he wants in Minnesota with Sidney Rice on tap for a new deal  . . .   so he's gone after the season as well. Belichick isn't going anywhere.

They're all fine, but the Vikings are clearly all-in this year and the guy who's going to take the heat when they tank is Childress.

Who said anything about people getting fired?  I beleive the thread said pressure.  No matter what happens, none of these guys are going to geet fired.

BB has the most, if this doesn't work out the way he thinks it will the media and most fans (not the nuthuggers found here, of course) are going to give him a thrashing.  Childress gave away a 3rd round pick for one of the best of all time WR who still has his skills, speed and able to stretch the defense.  Brilliant pick up for a 3rd rounder.  Favre has no pressure, he's playing on borrowed time.  He will be done after this year unless his excitement of having Moss there brings him back for one more.  If the vikings with Moss don't do well then of course Moss will be trashed for going out the way he did.

"Who said anything about people getting fired?  I beleive the thread said pressure.  No matter what happens, none of these guys are going to geet fired"

Your perspective on this is so whacked it is ridiculous. The highest equivalent of pressure in the sports industry is getting fired. Childress is absolutely in the hot seat, especially with the tensions between him and Favre. He could easily lose his job in the next year or two. Favre has no job pressure but has some legacy pressure, he doesn't want to go down in a haze of bad plays. Moss is under some pressure because he is in a contract year, which is why he forced his way out of New England, because he wasn't getting the reps here. BB is under absolutely no pressure. Most reasonable fans understood that Randy forced the issue and Kraft didn't want Randy back. The professional comments between Randy and Bill today expressing mutual respect also protect both sides from a bit of backlash around what happened.

You describe a "thrashing" but that talk radio thrashing has nothing to do with job security and BB. He's safe with Kraft for the long term. BB leaves when he wants to at this point. This decision only makes him more secure with Kraft. You seem to have the fantasy that BB is employed by talk radio hosts and accountable to disgruntled Moss fanboys like you. He's not. Not to mention anyone can see our young defense is not anywhere near Super Bowl ready. Losing Moss doesn't impact that. Plus: BB is coming off two very solid drafts, with many good players to point to. His security is fine.

Now it's time to see what this team looks like on the field. I for one really want to find out just how good or bad we are offensively without Moss.

I reckon BB has to start coming under pressure. If Pats fail to make the playoffs this year he may come under heavy pressure. Yes he has won 3 superbowls but that was 6 years ago in Feb. He has 1 of the best QB's of all time in Brady and he has weakened the team around him over the last couple of years especailly on D in an effort to get younger. If his D fails and now the Offense is slightly weaker without Moss then it may come back on his head.
