    Anyone remember Gordon Lockbaum?

Yes he was an hard working player who played both off & def at Holy Cross. I believe he actually got some Heisman votes because of his two-way play.

:) Good thread........thanks for posting. This a tough one....In any order, H Walker, Bo Jackson, Earl Campbell. As a former runningback I can appreciate the talents of these guys. Tried to emulate their styles into my game. These guys completely dominated the games they played in. Awesome, just awesome!

Honerable mentions - Marcus Allen, Dorsett, Billy Sims

    Mike Buck

I remember seeing him play a few times when I was younger. I think he went on to play for the saints I believe

When I was young, it was Flutie and Charles Woodson.

Later Matty Ice and Patrick Peterson and Matt Flynn.

I have to say, I'm psyched to see Matt Flynn finally get a chance to start, even if it's with the Raiders and likely to end in an explosion.
