Teixeira to miss 10-14 days
The Yankees just passed along this update on Mark Teixeiraâ¦
Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira was seen today by team physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He underwent an MRI which showed an irritation of his Grade 1 left calf strain. Teixeira will be evaluated on a weekly basis moving forward, and is expected to be unavailable to play for 10-14 days

New nephew, back on top, 13-3.
Great day for the Bombers.

Cute kid TWM (in spite of the clothes). You ought to use him for your avatar.
Thanks Mike. Another little one to spoil.
I thought you were against spoiling kids.
Or was it just other people's kids?
Either way enjoy the little guy.

I don't consider them a joke, TWM, let alone the biggest in baseball. Half the team has been on and off the DL all season, many now are minor league players, who are auditioning for 2013, not to mention the trade. How can the sox be expected to win without Punto;)If by the biggest joke in baseball you mean the manager, I'll give you that.

so wait...let me get this straight. he was able to run 87 feet but the last 3 feet he had to slide because he couldnt run anymore?
read this ^ one more time and realize how stupid that sounds.
separate MT issue - if there was hgh testing in MLB he would def be nailed after this week.

apples and oranges pal. the point is that he ran the first 87'....could he not take another stride? did they have to stretcher him off the field? for him to say he couldn't run another step is ludicrous. and to believe it makes you look like a....fool.

lolz. 1 more step?
the reason he dove is the same just like everyone else that dives into first base - he thought it would be quicker. although it is widely known it is not - players still try to do it. to say he couldnt run another step is.....foolish.

yeah ok I'll take your word over
the guy a veteran with the bad leg that
as far as we know has never dived into 1B B4
JMO but I'm thinking
kind of hard to make your case when he beat play
without looking like a bitter sox fan because he turned you down
I wonder how many days he has regretted that decisions
So, we're at the point where TWM can be ticked at an imagined insult, due to prior dust-ups and we can't have a discussion about a Yankee play, without being bitter fans.
So much for this thread...
FTR: Tex ain't all that. I bet he regrets not picking the Sox about as much as I do.
