Could be Teixiera couldn't run another step because he had reinjured his calf.

As far as Teix not regretting signing signing with the sox, I know I don't.

Why are the replies so long and consist of so many previous comments? It was much better before when a reply was specific to one comment only. Will this be fixed?

hopefully soon, but in the meantime you can highlight and delete all except the post you wish to respond to..

    lolz.  1 more step?
the reason he dove is the same just like everyone else that dives into first base - he thought it would be quicker.  although it is widely known it is not - players still try to do it.  to say he couldnt run another step is.....foolish.

yeah ok I'll take your word over

the guy a veteran with the bad leg that

as far as we know  has never dived into 1B B4

    JMO but I'm thinking

kind of hard to make your case when he beat play

without looking like a bitter sox fan because he turned you down

I wonder how many days he has regretted that decisions
So, we're at the point where TWM can be ticked at an imagined insult, due to prior dust-ups and we can't have a discussion about a Yankee play, without being bitter fans.

    So much for this thread...

FTR: Tex ain't all that. I bet he regrets not picking the Sox about as much as I do.
I gues we're at the point where guys like you are trying to make your team train wreck of season feel relevent.

Don't see much of a difference, TWM.  Neither one lived up to their contract money or years, although Agone had a shoulder injury his first year and coming off surgery, the second. harder to say.

    Yeah good waiting for AGon.

I have to agree Tex is not worth the 21 mil he'll make this season.

I know guys get hurt but this seems to be an ongoing thing with Tex.

A hamstring in the heart of the play-offs shutting him down, now this.

Build a gym in your house pal get your legs in shape.

    Lou Gehrig he ain't.

How many times do think Lou played injured?

I have to say I've been here all summer long.

When the Yankees were by what 12 games?

    Don't remember how many.

    But.

Did I come here when your team was self distructing and rub it in your faces?

Did I come here and gloat?

    No I did not.

I don't like to kick a team when they're down besides that there are some people here who are Sox fans who I consider to be good folks and who I really enjoy posting with.

Now I'm a troll because I defend Yankee players when I feel they are unfairly attacked.

You guys need some fresh air.

BTW how's that AAAA outfielder Reddick doing as an everyday player? Or that HOF DH playing for Seattle? Still waiting for even 1 ot the 3 killer B's to surface. The list is endless Pop's.
