    He was, at bare minimum, $100M overpaid on the day of the signing.  Maybe closer to $150M overpaid.  It was like Pujols, but without the inflation and PEDs.  I mean, age 36 indicates a pretty drop-off, and they're giving him another $114M left to go, plus another $30M if he hits another 117 HRs.

    tazawa has a live arm. his best years are ahead of him. hopefully, as a starter.



    I have no ideaq what's going on with him.  We brought him in as a starter, he started in the minors, he looks like he has better stuff than a lot of guys in the rotation.  Is there a reason why we don't give him a start?
