The number of homeruns averaged by superstar Jacoby Ellsbury since being named the Red Sox starting centerfielder, over a half a decade ago.
Thought you were posting the collective amount of brain cells you own. But anyhow, I'm starting to think Ellsbury may need a restraining order against you. We get it already - you don't like him/his game/his molecular makeup - can you please learn a new trick? -

In response to softlaw2's comment:
No, it's 10.6. "162 game average" isn't a season average, particularly when it comes to Ellsbury and a fictional 162 game season.
2008 9 HR Names Starting Centerfielder in spring training
2009 8 HR
2010 Zero
2011 32 HR
2012 4 HR
In the 5 seasons, since being named the starting CF'er, half a decade ago, superstar Ellsbury has averaged 10.6 homers per season.
Sorry it doesn't work like that. -

According to Baseball-Reference.com his average is 16 HRs per year, but why let facts ruin a rant?

Ah, the sure signs of impending spring: Later sunsets, warmer weather (still waiting on that one), and Softy lobbing grenades at Jacoby Ellsbury. And facts be damned.

In response to softlaw2's comment:
According to baseball reference, his "projected 162 game average" is meaningless. Nothing is more meaning less than "162 game averages".
Fact: He's average 10.6 home runs per season, since being named the starting CF'er, a half a decade ago.
False. His home runs per season is 16.Do you not know how statistics work??

For the pea brains, you add the home runs from each of the above 5 seasons and divide by 5 to get his average home runs per season. Hint: It's 10.6
Does anyone know what Ellsbury's days on disabled list 162 game average is?
The same as VMart's. -

Not over the last season, but over the last 5 seasons?
Yes, they both have the same amount of HRs from the DL over the past 5 years.
(Hint: It's zero.)
