If my predictions this year had been any more inaccurate, I would have had the Oakland Raiders facing the Washington Capitals in the October Classic. Unfortunately, such a provocative matchup failed to materialize. Okay, Tigers in 6....But after the way this season has progressed, anything is possible.....Including a last-minute series cancellation when Buster Posey and Justin Verlander are found together doing steroids and other PED's at a late night San Francisco treat soiree...

Not sure, but something tells me 56redsox is rooting for the Bengals....Which makes me wonder for whom ex-Cards Mc Carver and St. Louis native Joe Buck are rooting...The Tigers so they punish the Jints...Or maybe the NL team out of loyalty...Either way, even though McCarver is hard to take, I love the way Buck calls a game...

This reminds me of 1990 when the Reds jumped on Dave Stewart and knocked him out early. That set the tone for the entire series.

Somewhat of a shock to see Verlander get smacked for 4 runs so early...Tigers looking a little like the Yanks did a week ago, but not quite that bad...Going to be a great series...

LOL....good for Zito. I have nothing against the Tigers at all, but I'm glad to see Zito get some positive attention after everything that poor guy has been throug out there.

And just think.....If Brandon Phillips hadn't decided to try to go first to third on a wild pitch in the first inning of game 3 of the ALDS, none of this would be happening. Destiny turns on a dime....

Yeah. Every time a guy does well , we have posters wanting the Sox to acquire him. You will see ridiculous claims like , " Sandoval would hit 70 homers in Fenway. " -

Rumors about Cabrera drinking again before tearing a hamstring in July, while Middlebrooks hits 45 hr for the Tigers.
