5 Qualifying Offer FA have signed, 8 Are left

    SIGNED:

    1) Robinson Cano, 10/240

    2) Jacoby Ellsbury, 7/153 (could be 8/169)

    3) Brian McCann, 5/85 (could be 6/100)

    4) Curtis Granderson, 4/60

    5) Hiroki Kuroda, 1/16

    AVAILABLE:

    1) Mike Napoli

    2) Stephen Drew

    3) Shin-Soo Choo

    4) Carlos Beltran

    5) Nelson Cruz

    6) Kendrys Morales

    7) Ubaldo Jimenez

    8) Ervin Santana

Outside of Napoli and Drew, the only possible Red Sox targets would seem to be Choo and Beltran and I would be shocked if the Sox signed either one (given their current demands).

The Sox will likely (IMO) have 3-4 of the top 45 picks in the 2014 MLB Draft.

I think Naps will sign somewhere before the WM.

Ben has a couple trades up his sleeve. I think will be be less at least one pitcher.

With those five signings, the Red Sox first-round pick has moved up only one slot while their compensatory sandwich-round picks, originally at Nos. 41-43, have moved up five slots.

[/QUOTE] Thanx for the update on the draft picks! I think Naps is going back to Texas.
