[QUOTE]In Response to Re:.722 in May,.688 since April 16th : They also have Granderson in second in the league for home runs which I doubt will continue. It will be a tight race though. May's been a great month for the Sox. Can't help but notice they pretty much righted the ship after May 6th, my birthday. ;) EDIT: We jumped form 16th to 3rd on the ESPN power rankings. LOL!

You doubt it will continue but yet I believe he has the 2nd most hr's in the majors since tweaking his swing in Aug of last year.

I would say Tex, Swisher, Gardner and Hughes off the top of my head. I guess we could also add Soriano to that list.

Putting a Reliever on an underachieving list is difficult to do, relievers have a tendency to blow up. Don't see me expecting anything out of Jenks.

Swish is someone I think who overachieved his entire Yankee career, but Gardner and Hughes should get better.

Great! But you do realize that in order to get to 95 wins, they will have to win 61% of their games ball from here on out?

So will the Yankees, so will the Rays, it's an even playing field now.

Very true. 95 wins would be great, but making the playoffs is the real goal, and right now we're right where we need to be.
