[QUOTE]Lester done good tonight. If Harden is coming here, UJ to Cleveland, and Kurodi staying home, who's that leave for NYY? Not much. I still wonder why they've been so still. "It's quiet, TOO quiet."

I'm sure they have something in the works.

I don't know though.  The Sox and Yanks have two very different rotations.  With Buchholz out of the mix, the Sox really only have a great 1-2 and then a big dropoff at #3.  The Yankees have a great #1 and then 3 guys who are pitching solid.  With the big guys off the table, I'm not so sure they have a need for some of these back of the rotation guys.  The best guy left may be someone like Jeremey Guthrie.

Ah, the old PTBNL.  Good luck, Lars.  You were never going to get PT in Boston.

Cleveland gives up their top righty Alex White, top lefty Drew Pomeranz, who is considered a power pitcher, 26 yr old Matt McBride 1B/OF, and  P Joe Gardner who has struggled in AA...

If he is only a two month rental, the other player is probably no one of any significance.

Re: 7/30 Game Thread Lester vs Humber

How good will the rotation be if Bucholz comes back? I think that's been given up on too quickly. If the DR gives him the go ahead Monday, it could still happen. Best of all worlds then.
