    A-Fraud's Summer Vacation……

How about this!  A-Rod breaks silence on drug ban: I was ready for a break from baseball

Wow! He is ready for a break.... poor kid hasn't had a day off in twenty years. Rest up poor little fella and we will be here waiting for you in 2015.

    Too Funny.

So, dont think MLB "got me", because they actually did me a favor, that only cost me 28 mil, unlimited embarrassment, humilation and any chance of getting into the HOF..OK, Got it.

    do U disagree that there's a difference

if he actually made money/ gained something from his investment

Your scenario may work, if he stops paying his lawyers real soon. Otherwise, it's a wash or a loss.

But, yes Zac. I'm sure A-rod doesn't want to play, really needs a break and the court fights are all about the money.

It may be a big part of it.

But, the "I needed this" statement is BS.

Yeah, but if it's tangled up in the courts, won't the Yankees be responsible for his salary until all the appeals have run dry?  I'm certainly not supporting him, but just wonder why the Yankees would be oiff the hook salary-wise if the appeal process wasn't over.

I would think it would depend on if he was able to get an injuction against the suspension, allowing him to play.

you defend him all the time.  How?  by posting provoking responses to posts that put down arod.  a "TON" is arbitrary.  you cannot argue what someone considers a ton.  i consider 10k a ton of money.  maybe you dont.  but you have to immediately post a wiseazz answer to 4b's post.  why?  because you love arod.  thats how i see it.

Not sure that he gained any money from  his "investment".

From what I've read, Arod could have accepted a deal for a 50 game suspension really early on, before Bosch agreed to turn on him.  In that sense, he cost himself 112 additional games/salary, plus all the legal fees.  Had he taken that initial deal, he would have had little to no legal expenses.

He had another chance a later to accept a deal for about 100 games.  With respect to not accepting that deal, he cost himself 62 games/salary plus whatever legal fees he has incurred since that offer was made.

In other words, he has not gained anything by fighting this.
