He isn't. Never had the arm and probably doesn't have the power of 2011. Best case is roughly what he did in 2009 but with a lot fewer SB's.

I'll try to be respectful here, though there is no way you'd return the favor to the board, but you add nothing to this board by insulting all the players, and annoying all the participants.I will tell you who you remind me of. When I was 10, and the kids in the neighborhood would try to annoy the other kids by making fun of their team. Usally by saying 'Mantle went 0-4 last night' or 'Yaz went 0-4'.

Exactly. and Carter did make the team for a few weeks.
I think some fans miss the fact that players with guaranteed contracts who know they have a roster spot locked up do not go all out in ST. and why should they? Risk injury?
Younger guys like Bradley? Minor league vets like Carter, Bailey and Ciriaco? They have nothing to lose by playing hard in ST. They need to make an impression to have any hope at all...

In 2009 I was pretty sure he was going to end up on the Yankees. Once we signed him though, I went off the Crawbury deep end. :-)
