    This is going to be like when Youkilis left.
    People crying every time he does something.
    Who cares?
    The Sox did what they had to do, and we won't have to look at Gonzalez and his face that looks like sucked a pickle, expression.

    Of course he will hit homers in the NL where the pitching is a bit softer than the AL. Just like righty said, who cares. The SOX became relavent again with this trade. And now they can start to rebuild from the ground up.

    I've never understood why some Red Sox fans seem to get this perverse pleasure out of seeing a former player do well. They act as though they are the only fans in history who have ever seen a guy leave a team and actually do something positive.

    Oh my god, a baseball player who used to be on the Sox hit a home run! I am stunned that something so shocking happened.

    I wouldn't call the pleasure perverse.  If you like a player, you want him to do well (excpet when his new team plays your team).

    Haha..Yeah and then NOT show up again. How do they blame shop for arranging a meeting he was never going to attend? He stayed back in texas to hang with his family...
