Well with gradyson out, it will be easier to get a big gulp in NY than a win.

Here's guessing they'll manage more than the 73 the RS posted last yr.

    Red Sox 87 wins  :)

    Yankees 85

You want a dog fight?  OK...

Just please keep Triumph the chiwawa / chiguagua in his little cage :)

U mean the RS shall have a 24 game swing vs the NYY in 1 season? That would be a rare feat, not that it can't be done, of course. But the Vegas odds don't agree. If I could only wager this.

Admittedly, this is extremely wishful thinking!!!  It may be my only chance to dream big, so I'm taking it!  :)

Well this may be a dog fight, but clearly the yanks have no one to bell the cat.

    [/QUOT

How old are you? " Bell the cat"? Only AlibiIke would be aware of what that means.

"Bell the Cat" --- to perform a very dangerous or very difficult task; - taken metaphorically from a fable about a mouse who proposes to put a bell on a cat, so as to be able to hear the cat coming.

Happy birthday to you on your 90th birthday.  Don't forget your Geritol.

I am starting to believe that we have a forum of ten who are posing as 100 regulars. " Bell the cat"?, give me a beak, LOL.

It's a smiley reference from the good ole days.

Expect a brawl between the Yankees and Blue Jays.

If ANY pitcher hits any of our Red Sox batters, then our pitchers better retaliate.

The AL East is heating up.  LOL

You often speak as if you are a Jays fan and you said that your dad was a Jays fan. Are there any Jays forum foryou to go to?

I would rather chat with a unique individual like you in a Red Sox forum than chatting in a Jays forum.   ;)

Not what you said yesterday in your lame troll thread.

Hey Triumph, I said the Sox have surpass the Yankees, same as today.  You cannot handle the truth.

Hey SMILEY,  hang in there SON  !!!   That TRIUMPH guy's best days were spent in T-BALL.....  He always enjoyed the ICE CREAM on the way home !!!!

    Hello selenium  :)

    I was complimenting you.

As for this being a tough forum, I agree with you.  But once the Red Sox start winning and getting on the right track, I believe that the forum will be more positive and friendly too.

After all, the Red Sox had a nasty ending in 2011 and Valentine made it worse in 2012.
