Yup. These guys are light years ahead of Moore and Price. Not. Last night screwed them up. More than you can imagine. May change next time thought lineup. I hope.

One hit in 11 innings, dam come on and they are striking out looking which kills me.

    In response to manosome's comment:

Main difference between SOX and Tigers is that Tigers have better starting pitching.

Yep, but not better than Tampas. See what they do next time through. His PC is getting up there.

Is Peralta still on the juice or what? No one hits Lester well and Peralta gets 3 rockets. Yeah right.

Are they checking for the juice now that the season is over. Because Perralta looks like he has not missed a beat since missing 50 games.

Re: ALCS Game 2 Thread: Tigers at Red Sox

eek. this "see as many pitches as possible" approach seems not to work well against top flight pitchers, who simply pour on strike after strike and spend the entire game in 1-2 counts, and then get strikeouts looking.

the only guy who has looked like he had a shot to get a hit the last two games (so far) was Gomes, who sees ball and hits ball. time for the Sox to adjust.

The Rays were throwing fastballs at this team, Detroit is mixing in more breaking balls.

Sox hitters have to adjust and change their approach. Go the other way. Don't work the count and go to two strikes. Tiger's pitchers are exploiting that. We need to adjust.

Yup. He's pretty good. I like him better than Cano just for what he did right there.

That K zone is not entirely accurate.  Pitch to Drew showed as a strike but replay from sid showed it was low.  Still, too close to take I guess.

23 Strikeouts and one hit in 12 innings. This is going to be over quickly if they lose this game.

Do you like our hitters, with one single and twenty three strikeouts in twelve ALCS innings ?

As Keith Olberman said, for Sox hitters, bats are optional.
