wow this team looks worse than the astro's right now

Absolutely right. Reminds me of the Cleveland Series in 1999.

I mean i want to stay optimistic, but extremely tough

Their pitcher is pacing the game, we got to stop that, ask for time, bunt, spike somebody, we need a bloody explosion!...

The good side is the game is only 1-0 but the bad part is that we are being no hit again.

The great choke job of 2013 is on.  Deer-in-the-headlights hitters, either frozen or flailing in panic.  Wake up soon or this series is over quickly.

If Victorino cannot hit left handed against elite right hand pitching , he should not be batting second.

why? do you see anybody doing anything? victorino is fine where he is...

He is where he is. But he is not fine.   I am trying to find the right combination here. Not particularly rooting for Shane or anyone else. Right now, this is not working.

it's not working from 1-8...so why bring up victorino because he can't bat left? that is not the problem....

Because you sound like you are just being a Victorino fan , instead of what is best for the team. I like Shane too. We need this game.

How many times are we swinging out of our shoes to strike out on off speed pitches?!?!

Of course I'm nervous... it's the fackin' plaoffs

Nice hustle, Carp.  Act like you want to play.  Bench his azz until he shows he wants to be here

One hit in 13 innings, Carp sucks more than Napoli.

Not nervous. I thought we could beat the Tigers, but we are going to get our butts kicked. Their SP is just too good for us. It was a great season anyway.

Losing 1-0 last night and 1-0 so far is not getting our butts kicked.  As Kevin Bacon said in Animal House, "remain calm, remain calm"!

i know we need this game...but you only brought up victorino's name...you said he should not be in the 2 hole because he can't bat lefty....i love this team just as much as you..but come on man..victorino is not the only one looking silly right now.

Right now I am terrified. Does anyone feel that we might have overachieved this year ? I think we needed a hitter at the trade deadline and now these guys are going stone / morgue cold.

We have to make adjustments before it is too late. Go to the opposite field. The Tigers have a great game plan. We have to adjust to it. Can't keep making the same mistakes.
