Disgusting. I could hit better. Seriously. you protect the plate. If it's close. You can adjust to protect on a curveball. Harder the other way.

Why don't Sox try bunting this guy?  They can't hit him and Cabrera can't move.  I don't understand that!

Too many watching 3rd strikes!   They are getting embarrasing to watch!   Come on guys, you remember that you are professional baseballl players right?

Sox have to keep grinding against Verlander and hope Lackey can pitch a shut out.

Middlebrooks is swinging hard. You know, just in case.
hahahahaha. he looks completely overmatched. probably should be out of there by now. Bogey time. and if Bogey fails, then Brooksie might have some more confidence!

Its a wonder Hunter can play with all those tears in his eyes from crying about the Boston police officer cheering the slam.  Whaaaaaa!

Not sure fouling out to the catcher is any better than a K.
Its actually worse.  K at least makes the pitcher work.

If they can't hit him at least make him throw more than two pitches per batter...

Unless Drew puts the ball in the outfield he should not have any more at bats.   Now 6 K's in 9 at bats against Verlander in his career.   That's enough of a sample size to not use him.

Not only Drew, it might be time to play Nava instead of Victorino as Shane seems to be in a big slump now at the wrong time.
