Buck and McCarver have made it no secret about which team they're rooting for, and it's frustrating.

Another missed opportunity...good news is we're making Scherzer earn every out A d we're putting some good wood on the ball..

Not really. Good wood to me is hits. Two walks tha inning. Don't forget. Zero, hits. So no, not good wood.

It will. That is going to be huge by the end of the game. Huge.

Might be game over. Needed runs there. Not a good feeling now. Not at all. It all starts with Victorino. He's come up small too.

Have some faith...it's the top of the forth and there's no score...lot's on ball left to be played

Me, no situational baseball right now. Bunt is a fundamental skill. Pedey swung at a ball and ended the inning. So much for hitting the ball to miggy for errors eh?

Nice post. Long game and we will find a way. I predict Vic makes up for it this game.

Did that d0uchebag McCarver just say Drew jumped THREE FEET in the air?

Guess Stephen should try out for the Celts

Yep, foul. Means nothing. Then he grounds into DP. Gotta make them count. Every single out. They've wasted a ton of outs this series. Max doesn't have it. And yet they have no runs. That's how St. Louis got to Kershaw, single hits with runners on.

He was talking about his Schwing, not Drew.

Drew in all 3 outs that inning, 1-2-3.  Nice going so far for Bucholz.

Papi needs to get something started.

I'm positive when I see positive stuff. Such as Bogie drawing a walk, then Ells feeding off of him. Then Pedroia, with 2 strikes can't fathom how to choke up and slap the ball into the outfield. And it's not just him. It's the other 8 guys on the rosters. 2 on no out? World Champions drive those runs in.

That was text book game played by the Cardinals.  Just put the wood on the ball and hit into the gaps.  May be that is the NL style baseball.

Sox are swinging to the fences all the time, may be the AL style baseball.
