They should ask if Morales will be in the WS roster now.

Is it too late to trade Drew for Iggy?
Drew makes play to save the game and Iggy makes error that cost Tigers the game! We have the right SS.  Drew got more RBIs this year than Iggy will get in the next three years and Drew played great defense.

Lester, Lackey, Bucholz and Peavy for WS.

Cards are pretty good, like their pitching, starting and BP, and hitting and fielding.  Going to be a pretty even series that can go either way.

Tigers underachieved with their lineup, and were pretty poor fielding, and their BP was shaky.

Bailey will be back as set up man.  I have been impressed by him since his injury.  He has been with the team and there in no one cheering more than him.  Watch him in those celebrations.  He is a TEAM guy.  He only cares about the Sox winning.

Cards are tough.  I have watched them alot this year on TV and in person because my son is a huge Cardinal fan but I think the Sox can take them.  They do have Allen Craig coming back and he can DH which will help them.  Papi will have tp play 1B in St. louis so no Napoli.  It will be a tough series.

Cards hit .280 vs Rhp and 238 vs lefties. Obviously

Lester starts game 1 but Doubront may be very useful

in the Series, plus we will need a lefty besides Breslow

in the pen and that can't be Morales....Thorton?

Our BP beat their BP; that was pretty much the whole story.
Exactly.  We got timely hits and the BP (not counting Morales) was great.  Plus, Leyland made some bonehead moves that also helped.

Yes...St. Louis is a good club, and the Cardinals' franchise one of the very best run outfits in the game. But, I like the Sox chances.
